Clean comfortable and friendly Lodge. I paid little and got good value for what I paid. Car park said to be limited, but we arrived late and got a spot ok. Given extra tea / coffee and sugar.... no problem!

As usual clean and comfortable my only reservation is £20.00 per night for a small dog is a bit too pricey maybe this could be reviewed and some sort of loyalty scheme introduced that would encourage responsible dog owners and penalise the less responsible ones

The hotel website gives a wrong postcode for Satnav, it took me to Tesco on the other side of the big roundabouts. Reception very friendly, you gan get more coffee, milk and sugars from there when needed. Rooms are very basic, typical Travelodge style. There is a lift for easy

How close to M6 please and is this lodge easy to find from there
If you need to be close to M6 maybe you would prefer to stop at one of the two Premier Inns very close to J14 with restaurants close by. Travelodge is only about a mile along the A449, from J13, close to town and quite easy to find close to B & Q. The downside is restaurant facilities. You would need to walk into town, not far and can get a good substantial meal at the Sun Inn.When I stayed there was nowhere for breakfast....go to Asda or the station or Tesco...all pretty close
