This property is amazing. From the ornate moldings to the walled gardens this is a fine example of an English Manor house, and the owner treats everyone like royalty. The breakfast is hands down the best of our three week trip. Twelve choices of cereal, four choices of bread, four fresh jams, five choices of juice, you get the idea....

We booked a long weekend here (Saturday to Tuesday) to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it could not have been more perfect! We stayed in the Master room, which was incredible to look at, very comfortable and absolutely spotless. The en suite was lovely, so clean and the shower was great! The setting of the house is wonderful, such...

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Quaint would be the description, and as mentioned a lovely place to stay. Definitely go back again. Staff were very nice and amenable, breakfast being very nice. For night time they have a serve yourself honesty bar. Complete with a poodle and cat, what more could you want!

We had the most beautiful stay at Beryl. It is in a lovely location with a stunning house and gardens. Our room was very comfortable with a gorgeous four poster bed. Arrived to tea and cake on the lawn and a wonderful cooked breakfast in the morning. The owners were wonderfully polite. We would love to go back.

From the moment we drove onto the grounds we knew this was going to fulfil our expectations. We were greeted very warmly and given a tour of this beautiful house. Our room 'Winston' was spacious, tastefully decorated and overlooked lovely countryside. The entire house is furnished with antiques and period furniture. It is most interesting. The staff were all very...

After leaving Bath, we weren't sure where to stay next and found the Beryl online while at lunch in Glastonbury. A former hunting lodge that has been updated with great care and thought, it was a great place for the night, served a good breakfast, and had fabulous grounds for walking. This is a real hidden gem.

My wife and I stayed in this B&B hotel for 1 night on Friday 21 April. It's a Gothic-style house (13 guest bedrooms) built in the 1830's and located just outside of the city of Wells. It is set in some lovely grounds, is really full of character and a great place to stay! We received a really warm welcome...
