This is what an excellent B&B should be - it's just wonderful. Molly, the owner is an absolute delight and welcomes you warmly to her stunning home. Her whole team are wonderful, helpful and convivial. Everything about this luxurious place shows care, thought, taste, style and warmth. Breakfasts are wonderfully lavish and complimentary afternoon tea and cake a delightful touch....

On the outskirts of Wells up on a hill and in the country. Great place for the weekend trip with lovely cosy lounging rooms on the ground floor and comfortable rooms to stay. Very friendly family run place with ample space for parking.

After my mum and her boyfriend moving to the area, we were after somewhere we could stay nearby to where they live. We were so impressed when arriving at Beryl. We were greeted by a young girl (and her mum) who gave us a very enthusiastic tour of the Building. ☺️ Our room and bathroom was beautiful and so comfortable....

A family owned historical Manor, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The owner welcomed us and showed us the fantastic rooms we were staying in. Bed was comfortable, very nice bathroom. The whole house is furnished just incredibly. Beautiful and historical peaces in every room. Breakfast was just perfect as the rest of our stay. Local products are sourced to give you...

My sister treated me to a birthday weekend . A beautiful home with roaring open fire and lovely finishing touches - beautiful thick white towels, great quality produce and choice for breakfast, staff really friendly, little kitchen with fridge so we could keep purchases we made fresh, cake and coffee on arrival, menus and useful info file of local restaurants...

Wow! We have just returned from two fabulous nights at Beryl. I can't recommend it highly enough. The owners and staff are so lovely and so eager for the residents to enjoy the house. The Gothic property has been refurnished with love and care, and the attention to detail is everywhere. Our room was quaint, with all the modern facilities...

We stayed here after Christmas, sadly just for one night but what a lovely place to stay. A crackling fire in the grate and beautiful decor, all in keeping with the Victorian Gothic style of the house greeted us on arrival. Complimentary cake and tea awaited us in one of the cosy and authentically furnished drawing rooms. Our room was...

We thoroughly enjoyed three nights here in December, 2016. The house feels like it is out in the country, but in fact is an easy walk from the cathedral. It is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of England. We found the whole house to be spotless but not sterile - it feels lived in and well-maintained. We...

This has to be one of the best B & B establishments. Firstly, you have a beautiful Gothic Victorian Country House which has been loving maintained and kept very much in keeping with it's Victorian past, but with all the modern conveniences. The hosts are charming and provide a friendly, professional and relaxing approach, which enables you to fully enjoy...
