Ling is very welcoming and has a fund of local knowledge. Our room was very comfortable and clean and our breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. The cats are very friendly and we would certainly return to "Apple Tree" if revisiting Bath. This establishment is in an excellent position, within an easy 10 minute walking distance from the town...

Our family, 2 adults and daughter aged 11 stayed at Apple Tree to celebrate my husband's birthday. Hubby wanted a surprise; early afternoon woke up in the car to see the signs to Bath. We had enjoyed a previous visit to Bath in the autumn, staying in some lovely accommodation - but up a steep hill. Apple tree was excellent...

Just back from 2 nights in the Pippin room. As another reviewer has pointed out, the room itself is a bit cramped but beautifully clean and comfortable. Bathroom spotless with great shower. Furnishings/decoration throughout the whole house are consistent and tasteful with a real eye for detail. Ling herself is friendly and efficient and serves a wonderful and varied breakfast....

Without exaggeration this is the best B&B we've ever stayed in. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and the attention to detail was obvious. The breakfasts were again the best we've had with some very unusual and interesting options. I couldn't fault the location, on a reasonably quiet street yet only a 5-10 min walk to the...

Stayed at Apple Tree for three nights late October. Very good location to explore city, easily walkable from train station. We had the Pippin room, small, but all amenities expected were provided, with nice powerful shower and lovely clean, comfortable bed. Ling was very helpful and the breakfasts were plentiful and wide ranging in variety. No problems encountered, would stay...

We visited Bath for the first time together as a couple and weren't quite sure where to book, as it all seems quite pricey compared to other cities. My partner booked the Apple Tree for two nights as a treat - we usually tend to go for higher end chain hotels rather than guesthouses - so this was something a...

My friends and I stayed 1 night and regretted the decision when we saw Apple Tree. It was so cosy and the place was clean. We wished we could stay longer. Pros: 1) only about 5-10 minutes walk to the city centre where Bath Abbey, Roman Baths, great restaurants, etc are located 2) stayed in the Brambly, it was quite...

I cannot fault this place at all, ling was friendly and the room was very clean as was the bathroom. The location was a little further than expected but wasn't any problem. The breakfast Ling cooked plus cold breakfast was excellent. We were very pleased with this b&b, recommended.

Ling was an extremely welcoming and friendly host, really going the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was top notch and there was plenty to choose from. The location of Apple Tree is only a short walk to the city centre which is great. It was very nice returning to some Baileys and a bar of chocolate...

Ling was very helpful as soon as we arrived. The room as comfortable and the bathroom was more than adequate. Ling's breakfasts were our favorite part of our stay and the French Toast with Nutella and bananas was amazing!! It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do and we had a great time in Bath.
