My wife and i stayed in Roban House, by chance i must add, due to a change in travel plans post the Volcanic ash event. We found the property to be nice and quiet, with parking quite close by, and with only a 10 minute walk to the city centre location was excellent.

We had a very pleasant stay at Roban House. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The staff was friendly and most helpful, giving us information and recommendations. I would definitely stay here again. The parking is down the street. But you can drop off your luggage and then go park.

I found this guest house almost by accident but was attracted by the photographs on the website and the promise of 'treatments'. When I first rang, Anna was warm and friendly and offered lots of advice and answered all my questions. As my husband is about to start chemo we wanted a relaxing break with easy access to the city....

I booked directly with Roban House to set up a surprise weekend for my partner. From the very beginning Anna and Robert could not have been more helpful. They arranged chocolates and flowers in the room, advised on restaurant bookings, and when we arrived late they called a taxi and organized us off to dinner. We walked back from the...

This B&B is very pretty and conveniently located, but it is lacking one essential, adequate hot water. I stayed here during winter when it was not fully occupied and could not have a hot shower!! I was told that 7 people had showered already and it is no wonder that there was no hot water!! This is no excuse. If...

I stayed for 3 nights at Roban House, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Anna and Rob are so friendly, kind and thoughtful. Once again, the en suite room I was provided with was immaculate, comfortable and well furnished with everything I needed. Anna did everything she could to iron out a slight booking problem, and upgraded my room free of charge....

We stayed at this B (can’t call it a B&B because there was no breakfast) for two nights. We booked at the last minute and this was the only place we could find that had a room available at short notice. Having read a previous report stating that the owner couldn’t wait to be paid and watched the guests like...
