I can only echo the numerous superlatives already stated about this accommodation. It is located in a quiet, leafy suburb but close enough for the more active to take a pleasant walk into the city centre. The bedrooms are decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard, as are the guest lounge and breakfast room. Gary and Ruth are friendly...

Gary was the perfect host, with a warm welcome on arrival and tea-how many places provide tea as you walk through the door? Whilst having said refreshments he was more than happy to provide us with maps, information and recommendations on attractions and restaurants. The room itself was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable with the nice touch of home-made...

From a warm and helpful reception at arrival: we were in Bath for a few days cycling and were given maps and local advice from co-host Gary. The room was spotless and attractive, as was the whole house. This was a nice, quiet and relaxing place to stay and we enjoyed the whole of our time here. There are only...

Recently stayed for three nights. Very comfortable room with the lovely touch of home made biscuits and bottles of water. Amazing breakfast. Pleased I was able to try three different choices during my stay and all were delicious. Abbey Rectory is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Walking into Bath takes around 20 minutes at a reasonable pace. Going back is...

Gary and Ruth were the perfect hosts, from a warm welcome on arrival and supplying us with a map and information to the lovely homemade biscuits in our room. The room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, very quiet with views over a pretty duck pond. There was plenty to choose at breakfast, which was delicious and of good quality, served...

We only live in a near by town but wanted a night in Bath. We picked this B&B as it was reasonably priced and close enough to be able to walk to and from the city centre. It was lovely. A beautiful home with hosts who were warm and friendly. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a great...

WOW WOW WOW. If you ever stay in Bath then this is the place to go. It's set about half a mile from the city and the most picturesque beautiful place I have seen. The hosts put their heart and soul into making you feel welcome, offering coffee on arrival before showing you to the room and how everything works....

We were carried away on the North Devon coast and were running late. Called Gary who said "not a problem". Upon arriving we were shown to our room which was well appointed. Gary also suggested a nearby pub and made a booking for us. Breakfast was a nicely made to order affair in the enclosed conservatory area. Highly recommended.

Hi Katie R, We very much appreciate you, as a business guest, reviewing our B&B. Particularly when you are constantly travelling for business, so "doing a review" has to be the least priority. Thank you for taking the time & trouble to write / post a great review. We hope to see you again Gary & Ruth
