Stayed one night, for Christmas markets and a visit to son at uni, lovely find. Beautiful house, very tastefully decorated throughout. Huge room, very clean, ample tea and coffee and a little extra touch of homemade lemon biscuits, so yummy! I loved the Christmas tree in our room also, felt really special. Abbey Rectory is a magnificent home. We stayed for three nights in August. Our bedroom was beautiful, with high-end linens and ensuite shower room, was sparkling and spacious. The guest sitting room is well furnished and comfortable. Gary and Ruth were perfect hosts, providing a sumptious breakfast each morning. Getting to Bath center is a 20 minute, very pleasant walk.... I have lost count now of how many times we have stayed here. We absolutely love this place. Gary and Ruth are the perfect hosts. This time we bought two other family members with us and they fell in love with the B&B. All the rooms are beautifully furnished with the best linen, toiletries and little extra touches such as... You can't go wrong here. Ruth and Gary have created a lovely environment in a convenient location (see pics on their site which are true to reality). Welcoming you comes very naturally to them and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast (full English if you can handle it) is a treat with many things being home-made from marmalade to muffins.And... This was our first B&B and absolutely one of the best we stayed at during our entire UK visit. Everything was just great. The rooms were gorgeous, clean, very spacious with modern decor in the bathroom. There are only a few rooms at the B&B and they are all upstairs, so it is very intimate setting inside and out. It... Such a fantastic place to stay in Bath, within easy walking distance of the city centre. The hosts were very welcoming and there's a lovely relaxed atmosphere about the B&B. The breakfast is exceptional and there are plenty of homemade options to choose from. I'd recommend visiting the Bath Spa and there is also an excellent Steak restaurant nearby called... More

Located on a hill just up from the center of Bath, the Abbey Rectory is a handsome beautifully furnished house where on arrival we had a warm welcome and a nice cup of tea in the large living room.
