Very disappointing for the price. Very dirty and the staff have a couldn't care less attitude. Not very punctual, kitchen to open at 7am still waiting at 7.45am not very good service ! Fab location if walking not great for parking unless you want to pay at the pay and display 8am 8pm very expensive.

As a life time member of the Youth Hostels Association I was still a bit anxious checking in to the City centre backpackers hostel. I was the. Eldest at 56yrs, but there was a couple in their 40s but most were international youngsters. Checking in at 10 pm was no problem, the kitchen was busy, but in no worse condition...

The staff were helpful. The hostel was dated and needed a bit of life. The shining star was the location, situated a stones throw away from the train station and shops. The price was moderate for what you get. Beds were not comfortable. Common room was decent size and there were some computers free to use. Wifi was scarce throughout.

One of the worst hostels I've ever been. People stealing eachothers beds an throwing the other peoples stuff of the bed. Way too many people in one room without any kind of ventilation (not even an open window, because other guest will close it). Not enough lockers available because they put 6 lockers in a 12 dorm room with a...

I think it is expensive for the quality of the Hostel...very few bathrooms and also these are small, don't expect comfort in the mattress or pillow....the room is noisy at night so it is difficult to get to sleep... definitely disappointed!! But, I need to say it's near to the center of the city and the bus/train station, The hostel...

I stayed for 2 nights after arriving the train station around 5pm from Salisbury. The hostel is only 4 minutes walk straight from the train station. The staff was nice and helpful with information. I stayed at the 12 beds mixed dorm with lockers. The Roman Bath and most of the attractions and restaurants are just around 5 minutes walk....

The Backpackers Hostel was just down the road from the train station on the way to the center attractions in Bath, and I had 2 suitcases--so I read one of your reviews from the past and found a link to this place. I stored my suitcases while I toured around the city. The staff was very courteous and gave me...

Cheapest place to stay in bath when I booked. I was expecting worse after reading awful reviews but it wasn't that bad. It was clean enough which I felt was most important. The bedrooms were cramped but still enough room to get around but when we woke up the room was really warm due to so many people. Waiting for...

I had low expectations, but it's even worse than I thought it would be! I had to share a trashed and stunk room with long term guests and even staff members.  They are aware of these issues. I booked in advance and only when I got there the receptionist warned me about the other guests in the room. The room is called...
