Just returned from an evening meal. I ordered posh mac and cheese with warm rosemary foccatia. When it arrived there was no sauce in the meal very dry with kale and one piece of cauliflower. Cold bread, couldn't find the rosemary. Sent it back, it came out again with what I think was a bit of white sauce. My husband...

Oh how I agree with the other reviewers. Booked a table earlier in the week for 6 at 3.30pm and received an email acknowledgement saying they would give us a nice table. When we arrived they had not reserved the table and didn't seem to know what we were talking about. Eventually pushed three tables together so we ended up...

Some friends had booked a table for a birthday celebration last Saturday 3rd December. The restaurant was crammed with tables with very little space between and after ordering our food we then had to wait 2 hours for it to arrive. Other people who arrived after us and who had not reserved a table were served their food before ours....

Booked for.one night for the Christmas Market. Booked a table for 8pm when arrived. Room lovely and spotlessly clean although the cards for the door didn't always work. We ended up staying at The Boathouse by accident. Generally our two night stay was very good, lovely location, nice clean room, comfy bed, fantastic view. The food was good & the breakfast consisted of quality products. The manager was brilliant, very helpful, polite & pleasant. I cannot praise him enough. However, it is a shame some of the other...

Visited this pub for a family meal on a Saturday. Poor lad on bar duty seemed to be the only person actually doing any work. The bearded manager and waitresses seemed to all be suffering the effects of smoking too much pot. They couldn't have moved any slower and were totally disinterested in customer complaints and offered no apology. I...

We went to the boathouse with friends and all had excellent meals, I would highly recommend the steak burger but we were spoilt for choice as all the meals looked delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful which made the perfect evening. Sue A

Just returned from a lovely trip to Bath and staying at the Boathouse was a blessing. We had a lovely room looking on to the River Avon comfy and cosy. The park and ride is an excellent perk 2 min walk bus into centre every 10 mins or so. 5.50 for a return journey for two. No endless driving in...

We have visited the boathouse many times and had a lovely meal but this was awful. The sharing platter was advertised as a trio of meats, but they forgot the beef. We advised them and they returned the platter with beef which had clearly been taken off another plate covered in gravy! The dinner plate had to be taken away...
