I'm writing this review as a kind of thank you, for such a wonderful hotel experience. I don't enjoy hotels, generally, because I have to stay in them for work, so the fun has worn off. My wife and I were invited to a party in Bath, and decided to stay over. For me, the hotel part was a necessity,...

Lovely boutique hotel, in lovely setting. We stayed here for a night for a girly night away, and we had a fab time. Also a bonus a gin bar right opposite the hotel! Centrally located, beautiful rooms and friendly staff.

Very well placed hotel in Bath with lots of character. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast good with plenty of choice. Bit of noise from the street but you are in the centre of town, and doesn't everyone take ear plugs to hotels? Would very happily stay here again for its location and friendly staff.

Central and within easy walking distance to Bath's many attractions. A grade listed hotel which restricts some of the more modern amenities, but has charm. The staff are efficient and eager to please. People with mobility problems may find the stairs to rooms on upper floors a struggle. The rooms cosy with good modern en-suite bathrooms.

This was my first stay at this property and I was here for business, not pleasure, which is why it is difficult to review as it isn't set up for business guests. Starting with the positives, it is a cute, well maintained property in a great location. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The room was well...

Dear Guest, We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with such candid feedback of your stay. I am very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations. Our feature double is so very popular, giving an unusual quirky feeling within the parameters of a listed City centre Townhouse. I have never had any complaints about being...

This hotel could not be better for exploring Bath. Most of the main attractions of this beautiful city are within easy walking distance. The hotel is characterful. I have never stayed anywhere quite like it before. Usually I stay in chain hotels as I try to avoid surprises. I was surprised. To reach my room I had to ascend an...

The location was perfect for exploring Bath (although the driving in the city center is a bit tricky and navigating to the parking lot was Interesting). Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast, and the friendliest staff! Home away from home.

“not suitable for families as moving any large cases/prams would be difficult with the spiral staircase. Also if you suffer with joint problems I wouldn't recommend the green/pink room we booked as the bed is low to the floor and you can feel the joins underneath. Make sure to book the hot tub during your stay as that is fab. Recommend using the car parking offered by the hotel too”
