My wife and I spent 2 nights at Oldfield House at the start of December. We stayed in the Standard 4 Poster Room (No 16). We were offered mulled wine at check in but after a long drive we opted for coffee which was good. This was brought to us in the lounge which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our...

Treated my friend to a birthday city break and chose Oldfields because of good reviews and free parking! It is about an 8 min walk downhill to centre of town...more like 15 on the way back up. Everything was great - room size, shower, lounge, dvd's, thick curtains but for me it was the small touches that made it 5/5...

The Oldfields House in Bath is a nice bed and breakfast run as a small hotel. It is attractive for its short walk to the tourist area, free off street parking, a nice breakfast, and a friendly staff. Our room was on the third floor and was a small, loft room (slanted ceiling) at the top of the staircase. Everything...

My mum & I stayed for 2 nights in Oct this year and oh my gosh...it was gorgeous! We were greeted with a cup of tea in the lounge. Ground floor twin room was a good size & beds were very comfortable. Full English Breakfast was not only generous but delicious as well. Hotel was close to the city centre...

We had been recommended Oldfields house and when we decided to make Bath our base when meeting up with friends from Devon, we thought we would give it a try. We were not dissappointed. Very friendly and helpful staff both on reception and at breakfast. Rooms were very well appointed and there is a lovely lounge with an open fire...

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly co-manager Chris. Our room was ready but he asked if we were in a hurry before guiding us to the sitting room. Once there he offered us refreshments and turned up with a complimentary pot of tea and some bite size cakes. He then proceeded to talk us through what we...

Good value, nice room, great location with Bath centre only a 5 minute walk down the hill but the service was exceptional. A warm welcome from Jools on reception- by far the most cheerful welcome we have ever had and the breakfast team were friendly, efficient and very pleasant. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again.

My Wife and I stayed at Oldfields House on our anniversary in October for just the One night. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, who made us feel extremely welcome and although we were early and our room wasn't quite ready, offered us tea / coffee etc..... He then took time to explain where we...

We have started to take a lot of short breaks and I have to say that this B&B is lovely. Great food very clean and tidy. Beautiful gardens and views and very friendly people. We took the train to Bath and although this B&B is up a hill it is about a ten minute walk from the centre of Bath...

Very clean facilities throughout, pleasant staff, good location and a beautifully cooked breakfast - just perfect for a couple of nights in Bath. It is just a 10 minute walk downhill into Bath so we were able to forget about the car during our stay. One evening it was raining so we got a taxi into town to the restaurant...
