Mouldy curtains in the room, ripped bed sheets, no hot breakfast on offer in the morning, mugs were still dirty after being washed, no glasses, food on the floor, no tables clean, no receptionist. Understaffed. Appalling. Would not recommend.

Room nice and spacious but the shower head was covered in limescale and mildew. We mentioned this to reception when we checked out and the young girl instantly told us it wasn't travelodges responsibility it was a contract cleaners who come every 3 months. So no apology just passed the buck - bit more customer service training required and a...

I've stayed here before as it's close to where my family lives. On the positive side: excellent situation - 10 minutes walk from city centre; clean, reasonably equipped rooms with comfortable beds; tea/coffee facilities in room. On day one we remarked at breakfast that there had been an improvement in the food quality since the previous year. That view was...

The room and furnitures look old and dirty. There are spiders next to my bed and some other insets in my room. A renewal is needed ASAP. Another thing is the noisy come from the corridor and oher rooms. I can here very clearly the walking noisy from the upper room during night... The only advantage is that the location...

I spent a few days in a family room here during half term with my two children. We were located in the annexe which is a separate building. The family room was large, very clean and well decorated. Only negatives were that wifi did not reach this far, and the window catches were rickety. The breakfast was excellent value, £7.95...

We arrived at the restaurant an hour before it closed yet there was nothing there. No glasses no cups no plates, filthy tables. 2 very young staff running around trying their best. Waited for 15 mins for cup and plate. In the end gave up on the plate and used a side plate for what was left of the breakfast....

We stayed in a separate annex, in room 306. The room was spacious with high vaulted ceilings...but that's where the positives end. The only source of light in the huge room were two bedside lights. There was no main light whatsoever, so 4 women trying to get ready was a absolute nightmare. Though there was a fully plumbed radiator in...

A cold room on arrival. Family room with one bed actually on the floor. No hairdrier. Filthy bathroom. The restaurant was awful service. Lots of stuff we fancied on the menu not available. Waited 45 mins for simple starters so got a refund and ate in Bath at The Huntsmans which was fab and then went to the Retro Cafe...

After we left we found very much better accomodation for a lot less. Here we had to pay £12 extra to park the car, wi-fi was available free for just half an hour from signing in, not a total of half an hour. Breakfast was oddly organised and on our second morning we were told there was no butter available....
