Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Beds are very comfortable and rooms well appointed. Free internet as well !! Food is very yummy, but a little on the expensive side. Two heated swimming pools (one inside, one out), a health spa and a lovely big manicured garden.

We were made to feel very special. Staff engaged completely with the occasion, were fun, efficient, friendly and could not do enough for us. Everything was extremely comfortable, the food and service was excellent. They made a very memorable occasion extra extra special.

I recently had afternoon tea here on a lovely sunny afternoon so as well as an excellent selection of teas, sandwiches and cakes, I also had a gorgeous view of the garden. The tea selection also comes with a timer for the table to ensure your brew is perfected steeped! Recommended.

On arrival it was clear that we were somewhere special from the way we were welcomed, however I became slightly confused going through the check-in process, our stay (for me & my partner) was booked as a gift from my mother, and so we were not able to provide the payment card when asked on arrival (as it wasn't my...

My wife and I stayed at the Priory on 31 March for two nights, looking forward to another relaxing break at our favourite hotel. We had booked a room overlooking the garden because we knew that we would have peaceful nights away from the noise of the road in front of the hotel. When we arrived we were ushered to...

We went for dinner and had the three course Menu in the dining room. Staff were excellent. The new chef Micheal Nizerro produced some fine tasting food that excited the palate. The food could not be faulted in any way. Delicious flavours and all beautifully presented. We shall certainly be returning.

Stay long enough to enjoy the relaxation the Priory offers, but take advantage of its proximity to other parts nearby like Bristol using the Priory as home base. The train station and bus stations cost about $10 but are close by so you can take day trips.

Recently stayed for a weekend. A warm welcome was followed by disappointment in our room. The twin room we booked wasn't suitable for two friends, the beds weren't separated, there was no safe in our room (despite the brochure saying the are in every room), the sofa was a cosy two and we had a sink in the small corridor...

Fantastic hotel in Bath - a true country house experience right in the middle of the most lovely parts of Bath. Fantastic service by all staff but I'd like to mention Guilliam in particular- he was impeccable from beginning to end. Thanks - will be back ASAP!

We stayed at the Bath Priory for the second time and could not recommend it highly enough. The staff were extremely kind in enabling us to have an early check in having taken a long haul over night flight, and despite being fully occupied the night before. The room provided was beautiful and well thought out. The service attentive and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled within four acres of mature award-winning gardens and spacious terraces, The Bath Priory sets itself apart as a peaceful haven in a bustling city. The Georgian house of honey-coloured Bath stone enjoys a tranquil location just a short walk through Royal Victoria Park to Bath’s city centre and is proud to hold the city’s only Michelin Star for its exceptional cuisine. The award-winning spa has a selection of luxurious treatments, an indoor pool, pool-side sauna, elliptical steam pod and shower. From the moment you enter The Garden Spa by L’OCCITANE, fragrances transport you to Provence; the escape begins with scent. Every gesture, every ingredient, every ritual is drawn from a page of the L’OCCITANE grand herbarium, a resource of hundreds of essential oils and natural ingredients. Steeped in Roman history, the city of Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Roman Baths, Pump Rooms and Theatre Royal are noteworthy highlights alongside the city’s architectural merits including the Royal Crescent and The Circus. ... more   less
