My wife and I have just returned from a great two night stay at Tasburgh House. Sue clearly works tirelessly to make your stay thoroughly enjoyable; the rest of the staff (of which we met four ) clearly follow her lead as they were extremely polite and helpful. The interior of the house is beautiful and check out the teddy reading...

Having just returned from a long weekend in Bath I wanted to review Tasburgh House because it is without doubt one of the nicest and most special places to stay. A little outside the main thrust of the city makes it even more perfect - particuarly during the busy Christmas markets. That said it is only a five minute cab...

My partner and I have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay.... We were in the Tennyson on the top floor which was stunning. Tranquil with no "charge of the light brigade" in earshot ! Sue and the Team are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. Restaurants recommended definitely hit the spot too. Everything about the Tasburgh is perfection....

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times before, each time for a girls' weekend away, but this time my partner and I stayed here. He found the hotel extremely charming and sees why I return year after year. Sue is the perfect hostess: helpful without being intrusive, and her suggestions for restaurants and things to do in...

We stayed one night for the the Bath Christmas Fair. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Our room had character and was clean with a lovely view over the garden and canal valley. We liked the Teddy Bear on the bed! Breakfast spread was excellent and the full English I went for, was well presented, tasty and filling!

I went to spend a night a the Tasburg one week ago and was struck by the refined decor full of antiques that fill the common rooms. The bedrooms are very nicely arranged each being different in an old fashioned style inspired by famous English writers from the 19th or 20th century. However I was really disappointed by the breakfast...

Thank you for taking the time to write this review and apart from the breakfast, which we are devastated to read about, I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We so wish you had sent back the croissants or mentioned at the time that they were not perfect. Our croissants ARE French, we import the dough frozen, prove it...
