Having booked to see Bath play at home, we decided to stay for Friday and Saturday night at Tasburgh House. Our decision was based upon past positive TA reviews, good hotel website and easy direct booking, plus the hotel's close proximity to the town centre –being less than 1 mile easy walk away along the canal or alternatively following the...

Tasburgh House provided the backdrop to a 'landmark birthday' of mine. In hindsight, we should have booked more than just the one evening. Set into the hills just North East of Bath, the hotel has several acres of garden to be wandered at leisure, most of which offer a wonderful panoramic of the city below. A number of rooms open...

We usually stay at the Macdonald Spa Hotel in Bath, but this was a last minute booking for me and my two daughters, and the Macdonald was full. Right from the booking with Sue on the 'phone, this hotel was friendly and classy. I recommend you book directly with her rather than via any website. We saved a lot of...

My girlfriend and I stopped here for two nights this week and thought the following: Good: The staff were friendly and professional; the room was a decent size with a very comfy bed (perks such as tea & bottled water etc. go a long way); the walk into Bath is enjoyable and perfectly manageable for anybody who can walk up...

Great grounds, extremely friendly, lovely single room with Dickens theme, fantastic setting and reasonably priced by Bath standards. Minor criticisms include the shower being adequate rather than great, and the supplementary pricing for cooked breakfasts. Overall - you're not going to do much better in Bath without paying double the price. It's only a mile away from the centre, which...

A wonderful stay, wish we had more time to spend at the hotel, relax in the lovely garden, and to walk along the towpath into town. Very friendly and welcoming staff, where nothing seemed to be too much trouble. This trip was to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have wished for more, thank you. Our visit certainly left us wanting...

We were attracted to this hotel by its glowing review on trip advisor which in our experience are well-deserved. What we particularly appreciated was the exceptional service - professional yet with a personal touch - you really do feel well looked after and that you are not just another anonymous credit card holder! I've read some of the comments about...

The best stay in Bath. We always stay there. Susan and her staff will do anything for their guest. Their friendly association willingness to do whatever it takes to make your stay perfect is really remarkable. The rooms are always outstanding. Just outside of Bath its a great location to both get away from the city and be close enough...

This was my first stay at Tasburgh House. My husband and his coworkers have stayed there in the past. Based on what they told me I was eagerly awaiting my stay. My husband had to work but I was on vacation. Sue and her staff were extremely professional and pleasant. Sue was beyond helpful trying to find tours for me...

We chose Tasburgh House as the hotel to stay at to complete the Cotswold Way and we were not disappointed. It provided all the comfort we needed after 2 days of walking and we were well looked after and made welcome by Sue and her excellent team. Great breakfasts and a large comfortable bed with both shower and bath were...
