The hotel is well decorated, has helpful friendly staff and is set in beautiful grounds. It is a short walk along the canal into the city, or a cheap taxi ride back after a meal out in the centre of Bath. Very relaxing and comfortable.

An okay B&B - comfortable bed, good shower and nice views - unfortunately woken by noisy heating system - attic room small - charged extra for parking in their car park and breakfast £36 - landlady has a poor manner - would not recommend. Bath itself is great and the Abbey and Roman baths fabulous. Lots of choice for eating...

It is common knowledge that the best available rate (with no hidden fees) is guaranteed when booked directly with the hotel. All rates when booked directly with us include Continental breakfast and parking. For third party bookings, extra charges are made clear before booking and are also highlighted in our confirmation email, which this guest admitted to not reading. They...

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. Only slight downsides were; the bar is not cheap and there is a charge of £5 for glasses if you take your own wine. If you have a room discount there is a charge of £6 per day parking. The continental breakfast is not accompanied by the usual bread or rolls so...

Tasburgh House was our base for a family wedding. We could not have wished for a better hotel, lovely room with every amenity we could wish for plus a gorgeous view and staff who were exceptionally helpful. Hopefully we will stay there again.

Had a lovely over night stay, to enjoy Bath. Lovely room, with a fantastic bed, and great surroundings. Gardens are wonderful and lead to a lovely walk into Bath along the river. Hosts could not do enough for you and lovely touches with personalised welcome letter, and maps to help you out. Bar is expensive, but good continental breakfast, and...

The hotel was booked for its relative convenient location out of the city, thus reducing the cost of a short overnight stay. However, we stumbled on a brilliant alternative to high-priced city centre hotels. Being just over a mile from the main centre, you can either take the easy walk down the Warminster Road, or a very pleasant walk out...

We arrived at Tasburgh House mid afternoon and were greeted by Sue and immediately made to feel welcome. We were given a map of the local area with suggestions for restaurants and sight seeing opportunities as well as scenic walking routes. We were shown up to and around our room by Sue who made it clear that we should ask...
