Room 203 Lets start with the bathroom. I wiped 2 tiles with a piece of paper and it was black with dirt. The door wouldn't shut as the hinge was not fixed and the lock was broken. My feet were in 3 inches of water when I showered as the water took a while to drain. Next the room. Initially...

Have just spent 4 days at the hotel and had a really good stay. First and foremost the staff were all brilliant, friendly and humerous. Food was great and service was really quick no sitting around here. The hotel itself takes some navigating and we had a refurbished room on level three which was both comfortable and spacious. Given the...

I booked a four day midweek break at this hotel, when we arrived we were given room 302. This room measured 12ft x 9ft (I measured it) and it contained 1 double bed, 2 bedside tables, 1 TV table, 1 writing table, 2 chairs, 1 standard lamp and 3 steps into the bathroom. With floor space at a premium all...

This hotel could be lovely if a little was spent on refurbishment. It is a great building with elegant reception rooms, the staff were friendly and breakfast very good. Our room on the third floor was disappointing. There was peeling paint and wallpaper. The bathroom blind didn't reach the bottom of the unglazed widow and was held together with tape....

Nice quiet and welcoming hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, room was very large and comfortable, cleaned every day to a very high standard. Bar had a good range of drinks at average prices. Service was excellent throughout. If you are taking a car, well worth paying £5 a day to park in the hotel car park.

We stayed here for two nights for our honeymoon. For the offer price we got, it was a much larger than average room with its own patio space. The staff were very funny, friendly and chatty throughout our stay. The breakfasts were good and the location, if you don't mind walking up and down the big hill(!) was very convenient,...

Of course there are better hotels in bath - but for more money - it's all about value and this place is great value! Food was fine, service absolutely excellent. Car parking (at £5 per day) is available and was worth it as there is nowhere else locally. One word of warning - there are many stairs around the top...

Thank you RonG646, for taking the time to post your review. You are correct that there are many other hotels available in the City and many of those do charge a much higher rate than ourselves. What a wonderful Special Biithday. This Hotel must beat all others that I have stayed at. The Staff are most helpful and always pleasant. The food is second to none.
