Stayed here for one night for my Wife's birthday in November. The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was very tidy but felt a little dated and very warm. We had a front facing room which was very noisy at night. The bar was nice for a nightcap with a great selection of drinks and friendly staff....

Stayed at this lovely hotel and we were impressed with the size of our room, large bathroom and bedroom. Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. Friendly staff throughout the hotel including those in the dining room, bar, front reception area. Would love to return one day to Bath and would happily stay in this lovely...

The Abbey is a hotel with a sense of humour! Smiling, efficient front of house staff and a kitchen brigade producing well presented flavoursome food (brilliant hot breakfasts!). It's location is perfect and its exterior looks very 'genteel Jane Austen' - but internally it has a quirky, eclectic decorative style which is definitely not 'pretend Regency'! The Abbey, like other...

Excellent location - perfect for short term visitors who want to see all that Bath has to offer! The hotel is in walking distance to several major attractions in town: the Roman Bath, Thermae Bath Spa, Bath Abbey, River Avon, and Sally's Lunn (a great ancient restaurant/teahouse where we had our first meal in Bath). Good breakfast downstairs - we...

Nice hotel and well appointed with generally good staff, did not try the dinner, breakfast was good I think our 311£ room for Saturday night (12th November) was over the top, more fool me for agreeing to pay for it and reserving months ago rather than shopping around Most disappointing aspect was the late night street / party noise as...

We stopped here for afternoon drinks in the bar at the back, it was reasonably priced, nice ambience, good service and comfortable. We would have stayed for food as it looked nice but I am sure we'll return again.

Lovely hotel. Perfect location (2 min walk from Roman Baths). Staff were great - really polite and attentive. Room was comfortable and a good size. Excellent breakfast. Initial mix up over room (booked a family room and provided credit card details, then got a phonecall to say they could not fit us in the room after all (2 adults and...

We stayed at The Abbey Hotel for 3 nights and found the hotel the nearest thing to perfect! We were allocated a large 1st floor bedroom at the front of the hotel with fabulously comfortable kingsize bed and modern luxurious shower room. The staff are polite and very helpful. Snacks in the Bar when we arrived before a walk around...

Perfectly located hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, but I will definitely be coming back soon. Our room was spacious and had a good view of the bustling street below. My only disappointment was the lack of storage in the bedroom for clothes. There was no wardrobe and no drawers (just a...

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is to a high standard with a colourful modern décor and interesting art on the walls. We did not eat dinner in the hotel but the breakfast was excellent.
