We stayed here as it was adjacent to the Christmas Market. The room was comfortable and service excellent. We didn't use the restaurant or bar as we were busy enjoying the town itself. We did go in the Apres Ski bar which was done out to a good and authentic standard. We would return.

Perfect location, friendly helpful staff, lovely room with good shower and bathroom. Some noise from floor above and room a bit chilly until we found the hidden radiator! Artwork, decor and interior design excellent. Good restaurant and wine list. Lovely breakfast. And you must try the Art Bar. Very happy. We did not travel by car so parking not an... More

My husband and I stayed here for the night at the end of November to visit the Christmas Markets. All hotel staff from reception to restaurant were very polite and obliging and genuinely seemed glad to see us. The room was very comfortable and cosy, bed was lovely and we had a good night sleep. The only thing that was... More

My first solo trip. Took the train and booked a hotel the day before. Dont regret a thing. The room is Big and has a nice view. It is also very cosy. The shower room was nice and clean too . The price was definitely appropriate for the room.

There is no doubt that this is a very convenient and central hotel if you overlook the fact it has no parking on site only a drop off point. The Apres Ski Bar was a great fun idea with good Christmas atmosphere We were a family of six adults and four children celebrating a special birthday for two nights b&b... More

I have just got back from the most amazing stay at the hotel, I took my mum and elderly nan and we just loved it . We've been to the Abby before but it was my nans first time, we LOVED the ski bar and snow globe out the front. The room was beautiful and slept three easily! The only... More

The Apres Ski Bar of the Abbey Hotel is excellent. They took the Alpine scheme to another level. Such a fun place. The best to have a drink at the Christmas market in Bath. And Fondue on weekends mhhhh

Enjoyed my first stay here. Great central location, with all historic sights (including the famous Roman Baths) and shops within easy walking distance. Hotel is certainly on the pricey side, but staff are friendly & accommodating. Facilities equate to a comfortable English 4 star hotel, but the one small lift to upper floors is a small hindrance. Breakfasts are plated... More

A £300 a night tariff suggests top quality facilities but the Abbey is over priced at this top rate. There is no parking on site and no concierge parking; the closest we could find after driving around for half an hour was some sports club over the bridge. The room was a basement with views of a derelict tenement. Soundproofing... More

I phoned to ask about a room but I admit it was possibly a busy time... 9.30am They said they would phone me back when they were less busy. Fair enough. Over 4 hours later, with apologies, they phoned me back and when trying to arrange a surprise one night away for my husband, I was told they have a... More
