Stayed only one night. Reception desk was friendly at check-in and walked me to my room. I had the breakfast at the hotel. Lot's of food for the price. Room was clean and very comfortable. Included items to make tea in the room. Small TV and very spacious bathroom. I was in a Standard Double and it was adequate. Hotel...

The Abbey Hotel is right in the city centre, in a nice open square, overlooking the River Avon and park. We stayed mid-week in February so the city was quiet - no noise from traffic or revellers, not sure how it would be during the busy summer season. The staff at Reception and in the dining room were friendly and...

Came here for two nights for my birthday. We booked a deluxe room for this (best in the hotel) so dissatisfied with the room - no personal touches, no conditioner, no mini fridge and tbh I've had a nicer room at Premier Inn. Staff that checked us in were efficient but not friendly, didn't ask us anything or offer any...

Just spent two nights at The Abbey and we couldn't have found a nicer place to stay. The central location is great for all the amenities, site-seeing, shops, restaurants and bars. All of the staff were really helpful and answered our every needs. The Art Bar, with its quirky ceiling display of wine glasses, was an ideal place to relax...

This was the first time that we stayed at the Abbey Hotel. Both my wife and I very much enjoyed the experience. Very helpful staff who went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. Most impressed with the restaurant, serving first class food, with every attention to all all our needs. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I have just got back from a 2 night stay at The Abbey hotel. It's conveniently located, the car park really isn't far at all (Manver Street, £12.50 a day). It's about 3 minute walk from Bath Spa station. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The bar is beautiful and we loved the glasses hanging from the...

We stayed here due to its proximity to the Rugby Stadium. The hotel is set back from the road where you can park long enough to unload luggage, car parking in quite nearby in a rather dirty smelly car park. The bedroom was nice with a huge bed but little in the way of cupboard/drawers for clothes just an short...
