The rooms are lovely. The bar... less so. We stopped off at the bar after work for a drink before bed, as guests in the hotel, and he barman was incredibly rude and unfriendly. No idea why but it really spoiled the evening in the very pretty bar.

We stayed here for a weekend break in bath. It is a few minutes walk from the station and most of the tourist parts of the city are walking distance from there Our room was reached going through various corridors and levels and we got lost a couple of times, but not a major issue The room is a nice...

A lovely hotel with excellent reception and service. We were greeted as if we were important and always with respect even though we are just another couple staying for one night! Dining room staff were excellent too. Dinner was good but breakfast was a bit rushed with so many people needing to be served quickly. To be told by a...

Cannot fault the location and the breakfast was amazing, also the staff were very helpful.....but! We had booked 2 superior rooms through secret escapes, but when we arrived they only had one room and we were two couples. We were sent to the bar for a free glass of sparkling wine whilst it was sorted out. We ended up in...

I struggled finding the location of the hotel due to my own uselessness. Rebecca from reception came and found me and got in my car to get me there safely. As I was traveling with my 84 year old mother I was upgraded to a super room with a view right by the lift by the lovely Wayne who also...

I almost didn't book here as I was hoping to go to the pump rooms, but as they don't take reservations on Saturdays, this was where we decided to go. I'm so glad as it is much nicer, less noisy and less crowded than the pump rooms. had pre booked my afternoon tea reservation online previously. Me and my mother...

This hotel was good value for money - reasonable sized, tastefully decorated rooms and with a great bar area which had a lovely atmosphere. Outside seating which will be great in warm weather and very well located for all of Bath's main attractions, Staff were professional and attentive. I would stay here again.

We booked 2 small double rooms via Booking.com. I thought this meant that the rooms were small, not that the beds were small! The reality was that the beds (not proper doubles) and rooms were the smallest that I'd ever encountered in a hotel and really were only fit for single use. One of the beds could only be accessed...
