The staff were semi-friendly. The room we stayed in stank of must and old sewers, one morning I woke up and needed a drink of water so went into the bathroom and the smell was unbearable it made me sick. Therefore we had to buy bottled water which was a little overpriced. The place would be lovely if they sorted...

My friend and I visited this week and stayed overnight Tuesday to Wednesday. Our stay was very pleasant and restful. All items such as bedding, towels and room furniture were clean and inviting. Staff were obliging and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would consider using the hotel in the future. A big "thank you" to staff concerned.

We chose Brooks Guesthouse from a recommendation. We had a lovely room with a really good bed. It had everything we needed! And, as others have said, the breakfast was quite nice. We were able to walk to town for pubs and restaurants. And, the Victoria Park is right up the block. Would highly recommend Brooks Guesthouse to others.

Met up with my friend in Bath for a couple of days and stayed in this lovely Guesthouse. It is in a good location and only a short walk to the city centre. We had a twin room which was warm and cosy, with very comfortable beds. The staff were all very friendly and looked after us very well. Breakfast...

We had an overnight stay in this cosy guesthouse opting for a superior room. The bed was comfortable and the room had good facilities including home made biscuits to go with the tea & coffee. The breakfast was cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients, the staff friendly and the location an easy walk into town or to some of...

My wife and I booked a couple of nights at this guesthouse for our first anniversary, and found the staff mostly friendly and the breakfast excellent -- the waiter was, without exaggeration, one of the best I've come across and the food fantastic. Otherwise, the room we were given (2) was sloppily presented and quite dirty (curtains didn't meet, stains...

My husband and I were treated to a night away by our daughter as a thank you for babysitting gift. They paid£89 for the room, but I upgraded to the only available room which offered a larger bed. As I had read in previous reviews the beds were small and my husband is 6ft +. When we arrived at the...

Sorry you did not enjoy the generous gift your daughter purchased you . It was £89 for a bottle of Prosecco B&B and box of choc truffles Prosecco is available in the honesty bar so we would have happily switched your bottle for a colder one had you asked. In Bath £120 is the average room rate so £89 is...

Stayed here for one night to visit Bath and wasn't disappointed. Warm welcome on arrival. Paid £8 for parking permit and were able to park easily across the road. Didn't have to give it back until we were ready to leave about 12.00pm. We had the large superior room with super king bed, which was so comfortable and beautifully decorated....

Excellent location, fab staff & the best breakfast ever. We stayed in room 14. We saw the deal on Groupon but actually booked direct. We were lucky & got a parking permit for just £8. Looking forward to checking out their other locations. Will certainly recommend to friends. Thank you!
