We truly loved our Easter weekend at Bloomfield House! The decor is beautiful, the rooms elegant, the views superb, the breakfasts organic and delicious and the bed spectacular. However, all of the above are eclipsed by the warmth and generosity of Karen and Rob who made us feel like we were staying with friends. This is a unique place and...

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Bloomfield house. It is a lovely Georgian house owned by a charming couple, two gorgeous dogs and beautiful friendly cats. Our room had a view on the lovely garden and was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with good quality products. Hospitality at its best.

We spent three nights in this fab B&B with our three dogs. The hospitality was superb, the owner Karen could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The building and our room was lovely and the breakfasts were delicious, our only fault being, we couldn't stay longer but we will return, sooner rather than later.

The beauty of Bloomfield House is obvious - an atmospheric building, on top of a hill, looking out over Bath. However, there is so much more - the interior has been modernised loses none of the character of the building. The dining room is exquisite. What made it special for me was the way the landlady was prepared to adapt...

We had a wonderful welcome, we were given some very useful information. Additionally our room was extremely comfortable with a sumptuous bed which resulted in a great nights sleep! Breakfast was delicious, great choice and set in...

Arrival was warm and welcoming with helpful advice given of local area and access into centre. We chose to walk only taking 15min. Accommodation was comfortable and clean having everything we needed. Breakfast was of a good standard. Should be noted accommodation is located on the second floor so may be unsuitable for those of whom stairs are a challenge.

We had the King Size Double ensuite room with spectacular views over the garden, countryside and Bath. The room was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable, the whole place was meticulously clean and the owners so welcome. Delicious breakfast served in a lovely dining room overlooking the garden. Melon and fruit to start with, cereals if you wanted, and a large...

My fiancee booked us a little trip to Bath as we have been before for a day but had always said we would like to stay longer. We are very fussy when it comes to hotels so when she informed me she had been looking for a while I knew it to be true! She stumbled across Bloomfield House and...

I stayed here for one night, to be honest it wasn't enough to take it all in. It's lovely and homely and relaxing. The breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of it cooked just the way you like. The room was very nicely decorated with everything you could wish for. You are even given a night-cap as a...

Elegant, unique, Georgian family house with romantic four poster bedrooms, half testers and a cosy south facing single. We serve mostly organic and fair traded breakfasts until 11.00am. The guest house has a friendly relaxed atmosphere and is situated in a quiet elevated location with about a 20 minute walk down to the city centre. Please note for those with allergies that we have a dog and several cats – reception areas only. We accept pets but like to know that they are coming. We are sorry but Saturday nights are generally only available as part of a two night booking. Our cancellation terms are a full 72 hours notice required. ... more   less
