This is a number of town houses linked together. There are several pokey stairs within each. Some don't even lead anywhere. The floors creak and lean. Corridors tatty and dark. Ceilings stained. Obvious water leaks everywhere. Pipes noisy. Furniture a mis match of styles and shabby and seen better days. Room wasn't much better. Have to walk up hill from...

Stayed for 3 nights in March hotel in great location but that's the only good thing about it I'm afraid ! Rooms in desperate need of decorating, plaster coming off walls, shower barely works, shabby and disappointed as this was a Christmas present for my husband - every part of hotel creaked so easily woken by other guests moving about...

So you arrive and the location is excellent and the building beautiful but that's where the good stuff ends. Our room was horrid. We had to ask for the sheets to be changed as they were dirty, then we didn't have towels. The bathroom was filthy, with big thick brown stains running down the bath from the tap. The Windows...

I was a little concerned about what to expect given the reviews for this hotel are far from glowing, however, my experience was fair and I certainly wouldn't right this place off!!
