We (8 ladies celebrating a special birthday for one of us!) stayed at Dukes for the weekend and what a lovely treat it was. Carol and her entire team were wonderfully warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and went out of their way to help us with parking, advice on restaurants to eat in etc, The hotel is...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

From the moment we stepped into Dukes, we were cared for and welcomed, in a non intrusive way. There were a million kind and generous things, like a temp. parking permit, fresh Madlines for breakfast, a friendly 'goodnight', a small morning chat at the breakfast tabel, a few chocolates in a bag for our journey homewards. The building is an...

We were only able to stay one night last weekend in this well run understated hotel and even though the website states that the minimum weekend stay is two days after speaking to the immensely helpful owner on the phone we managed to book a shorter stay. The ground floor back room was quiet, comfortable and well furnished in keeping...

Stayed 3 nights at the Norfolk suite, the experience was perfect in every way. Amelia at breakfast went the extra mile, all staff were very efficient and friendly. Our 1st visit to Bath, great location, breakfast was special, will definitely return, have already recommended to our son.

A lovely big room, nicely decorated, extremely clean and welcoming. Delicious breakfasts in a bright pretty breakfast room. Helpful, pleasant staff and a great location - easy walk to all the sights and restaurants. The Dukes Hotel was our favorite place on our most recent trip to England

Made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Room was spotless and bed very comfy. Drinks available from the bar on request. Breakfast was excellent. Let us use their parking permit after checkout (as it was not needed by other guests) so we were able to enjoy our second day in Bath without the hassle of moving our...

My mother and I recently spent two nights at the Dukes Hotel in the exquisite Beaufort Room (a deluxe double, I believe). The rooms were spacious and well-appointed and the bed was very comfortable. In addition to the lovely breakfast, the staff offered a treat of port or brandy when we returned for the night, a wonderful and unexpected way...

Our desire is for guests to feel as though they are visiting the home of a long term friend, familiar, comfortable though well cared for. We like to support rather than intrude. With 17 unique rooms, we offer a personalised and attentive service. Our team enjoy baking and so a gentle flow of cakes, madeleines, biscuits or almond bites will...

We have recently stayed for 3 nights at the Dukes Hotel in Bath and would very strongly recommend the hotel as a fantastic base to explore Bath and the surrounding areas. The hotel is a lovely building and the 4-poster room we had was fantastic. The room had very large sitting spaces, high ceilings, a magnificent 4-poster bed, a very...

As you note we are located within a ‘lovely building’. We are fortunate to stand within two Grade 1 listed Georgian townhouses on a magnificent boulevard. The building, rooms and furnishing all embrace and reflect the magnificence of this World Heritage City. A five-minute level stroll form the heart of the City ensures easy access though without the risk of...

We were booked in for four nights and were treated exceptional well. Carol and her staff are professional and agreeable; and show hospitality and helpfulness to all guests. We stayed on the first...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a generous and charming review. We are supported by a tremendous team of professionals all of whom are sympathetic to the needs of our guests. We have 17 unique rooms that range from the more modest ‘snug’ through to very grand and memorable four poster suites. I am pleased that you...
