Came away for a spot of relaxation! Glamping in the 'Night Sky' was just the job. Lovely views and peace and quiet. Friendly staff and plenty of information, had the cooked Breakfast in the restaurant with good service and an evening snack out in the garden area, it was lovely! Would definitely come back again.

Got a nights stay glamping from friend as Christmas present, read some reviews and was looking forward with trepidation. After first night we extended our stay in the "summer houses" and wondered if some of the negative reviews had visited the same place, even if they were from the week before. Glamping is what was expected and the pictures on...

Amazing views, relaxing experience and friendly staff! Getting to it was a pain because it is in the middle of nowhere but boy is it worth it, amazing scenery and a really enjoyable stay. The food was not the cheapest but it was delicious. I would definitely recommend for one or two nights stay!

Stayed in a glamping pod/shed summer house for a child free night for an anniversary. It was fabulous!! The pods are amazing, definitely beings the Glam to glamping... Comfy large double beds, beautiful bedding, heating, kettle and quirky finishing touches unique to each pod. The pods are set on a hill side overlooking rolling Shropshire countryside, a beautiful romantic pagoda...

Bought me and my partner a night here glamping. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Gorgeous views. Hot tub was so relaxing at night under the stars! Breakfast was well organised and good quality. Free pick-a-mix trolley in reception/lounge/restaurant area. The glamping sheds were perfectly warm in March. Not a lot to do in the area apart from countryside walks,...

Really disappointed with our stay here, especially how there is so much potential for it to be lush. Firstly, the cabin we stayed in was filthy, it obviously hadn't been cleaned as there was hair grips on the floor too. There was also about 10 cigarette butts in front of the cabin. This made me wonder what else hasn't been...

The time we stayed they had been clearly having massive problems with management so I feel really sorry for the current staff. A girl that was in the kitchen, who I'm sure she said she had only been there something like a week. She had to go behind the bar, the kitchen and sort near enough everything out because the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Abel's Harp is a small vintage style hotel and licensed wedding venue set in five acres of beautiful Shropshire countryside. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with fantastic views. All rooms are en-suite and individually themed. There is an on site restaurant, bar and gallery. It is a relaxed and quirky hotel and is an excellent place to stay if you want to visit Welsh Pool, Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Church Stretton, Powys Castle or to walk The Stiperstones or Long Mynd. We also specialise in bespoke weddings particularly in vintage, festival and country style weddings where parties can benefit from the land, views and creativity of the hotels design. We have two licensed ceremony areas one inside and one outside in our courtyard garden. Our food is a mix of dishes with a quirky twist, we like to think we have something on our menu for everyone. Our afternoon tea is also a real treat with its hand-made cake pops and Alice in Wonderland themed biscuits, a mix of finger sandwiches and scones and a variety of cakes. We really want all of our guests to have a great time and appreciate the time and effort of those who have given us feedback on Trip Advisor, we are proud to have a certificate of excellence. ... more   less
