After a meal in Shrewsbury, we wanted a final drink before our train home. We have always enjoyed visiting Draper's Hall and headed there. We arrived at approx 7.45pm yesterday (30/4) and the front door was closed, we were just about to turn away when we thought we would try the door - it opened and there were a few...

Beautiful old property in the center of town. Much preferred it to the larger hotels that are available nearby. The room was adequate if a little small (which seems pretty standard in the older properties in Shrewsbury). Staff were outstanding. As others have mentioned, parking is a little difficult - we were less worried about the cost of parking at...

Drapers Hall Review My partner chose this place as a birthday treat , finding it was pretty straight forward with the sat nav . Town centre location so easy access to all the main shops , the independents ones of which there are many and of course bars and restaurants . There's also a museum nearby however we ran out...

Situated in a square in Shrewsbury Drapers Hall is steeped in history a very old meeting place established way back in 1485! Recently won 2 rosettes award for food. The menus have a great choice.food is very nice staff attentive service isn't the quickest but it's not a fast food restaurant it is very much a sit back, enjoy your surroundings...

We arrived late on a Friday evening, so I'm glad that the staff were still happy to accommodate us. We didn't have food, but enjoyed drinks by the fire. Lovely cocktails (I had a chocolate one) and great atmosphere. The drinks are a little pricey, but more or less in line with other bars in Shrewsbury.

I wasn't as impressed by the family dinner that we had here as I had hoped. We were in the main panelled dining hall at one end of a long high trestle table with low chairs, which made things uncomfortable. Service seemed a bit haphazard as we had to remind the young and friendly staff to bring fairly basic things...

I received a very warm welcome and was shown to my room (the orange room). The room was a good size and had a large ensuite with a very large bath. The furniture was old and full of character but was in excellent condition and more than ample. Adequate tea / coffee making facilities and a nice table and chairs...

What a lovely place to stay - small and quaint with excellent service and lovely rooms. The breakfast is £15 per person so on the expensive side but well worth it with loads of choice I will be visiting again soon

Sightseeing in Shrewsbury today we (a group of ten) found the beautiful Drapers Hall. Although the establishment was closed at the time we were welcomed in to look around. The public rooms that we saw were superb, full of history with a roaring log fire blazing. The owners/staff were very obliging and did indeed serve us with hot drinks, steaming...

We had booked this venue months in advance as a festive meal with friends. We had booked the babysitters and were looking forward to a meal with friends. On arrival we waited for a long period before being asked for our drinks order. When the drinks arrived we have our food order, which included oneChateaubriand and a fillet steak. After...
