Very friendly staff, rooms are a bit wacky, but quality is good. As long as you don't mind a bit of crocodile wall paper then you will be fine. Food in the bar is a good pub standard and the snacks menu is definitely worth a look. Beer changes regular enough and seems to be kept in a pretty good...

We stayed for two nights in February 2017 in the 'Penthouse Suite', a split level space with plenty of room (and privacy) for us and our two children to relax and, if we wanted to, cook. Eclectic decor with nods to punk and glam. Nice views of the gorge and a glimpse of the famous bridge. We ate twice in...

Visited on the spur of the moment for a quick lunch whilst in Ironbridge. I had a pint of Jennings Cumberland which was wonderful and the highlight of our visit. Then we got our food, my daughter had grilled haloumi baguette which came with a salad garnish and tortilla chips, I had steak and mushroom melt baguette also with salad...

I called in for lunch with a friend in a wheelchair as he is an amputee. On arrival I was told the access was via two steep steps, The gents toilet was again up steps. The barman helped us up but there was no room to manoeuvre the wheelchair. My friend had to stand and hop in the best he...

I was treated to a meal at the Malthouse for my birthday. The fare was plentiful and of good quality and reasonably priced. Pleasantly located on the Wharfage by the side of the Severn the premises were clean and welcoming. The only drawback was that immediate parking was limited.

We had first visited the Malthouse for food a couple of years ago whilst staying at another B&B in the area and were favourably impressed. This most recent visit was our first opportunity to sample the establishment's accommodation in addition to their food. I must say that we were unprepared for the level of room quality for the very modest...

Stayed for one night with a group of friends. Very good. Rooms were somewhat quirky, very clean and good bathroom. There was no tissues in the room. Had a meal in the pub in the evening and was very pleased with the food and the staff were very friendly. A very good menu for a pub, very varied. Would visit...

The owner was one of the most rude people i have ever met. They put somebody else in the room we had specially booked for them and when we went to speak to them we was disgusted with the ignorance and uncaring response we received. There are lots of nice hotels in Ironbridge who will value you and your custom....
