My sister and myself were stuck in Sheffield late at night and booked this B&B. It was very easy to book and the gentleman who met us at 11.30 at night was very nice. He checked us in and explained everything we needed to know. The continental breakfast was very nice, plenty of toast cerial and fruit. With yogurt and... More

I booked in last minute as a solo female traveler. I had a lovely welcome, the owner Mehmet was absolutely wonderful and kind, helping me out when I had a slight mishap. Jordan the night guy was lovely too. It's basic accommodation but it was clean, comfortable and I felt safe. There was an intercom system upstairs so you could... More

Stayed here last week. Ok the place is bog standard but you get what you pay for. What you don't pay for are kind friendly staff happy to help and as I am booked in to stay here again this week I think that's as good a recommendation as I can give.

Visited on a busy Saturday, staff could not have been more athen time or helpful . It's not the greatest place on the planet but it's a cheap b&b that covered everything as we needed it too , breakfast was lovely and the room was clean enough and had everything we needed for a one night stay

My partner and I spent 1 night at the hotel and don't have a bad word to say about the place. The room was clean and pretty modern with comfy beds. The staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us which always makes your stay pleasant. We would definitely stay again.

I have to give a good review to this place. It is not the Ritz true but if you want cheap clean accomodation then is OK. Stairs are steep but there is a good hand rail. I lost my hearing aids at this B & B. They went out of their way to find them, even emptying the hoover bag,... More

Fully booked which tells It's own story really. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything one would expect from a budget b&b. Fabulous value for money. The hosts were very friendly and always on hand if needed. Breakfast was hearty and well cooked. We will definitely use the Alara again. PS: Thank you for the creme eggs......The hunt was... More

Stayed here on 14th November with my mum for a girly shopping weekend and a concert. Left booking a hotel a bit last minute and this was one of few that were left at a reasonable price. First thoughts pulling up to the hotel were that it looked a bit shabby, but these thoughts soon disappeared. The lady that welcomed... More
