We have visited here twice recently - a Friday night and a Sunday lunch. Both occasions the place was very busy creating a nice atmosphere. The addition of a wood burner into one side of the bar area together with a change of lighting gives a very homely, comfy feel. Service was very attentive and friendly on both visits. The...

Well accompanied by a good montepulciano for about £13. For pudding we had...

We arrived at lunchtime and were immediately welcomed and shown to a good table by the fire, the room was tastefully decorated for Christmas. We ordered and the food came without too much delay while we sipped our wine. The food was excellent, plenty of it too, all very nicely cooked. My wife chose a small option of a main...
