On the minus side the room is small and a bottle of beer is £4.75 but on the plus side there is free wifi, free parking at the back of the hotel, the edge of Reading location was convenient, the Thames is 50m away and the staff were the friendliest people you could wish to meet. I would stay again...

This is a nice clean budget hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The bathroom is pretty and the rest is a little scuffed in parts, but throughly clean, and the bed is comfortable. Has a little bar in the lobby as well as food (although I did not eat there). Cheery sort of Mom and Pop establishment. Good...

It had tea, coffee, kettle trouser press en suite shower and tv. I did not have an evening meal here but the restaurant...

Lovely people who work there and wait on you hand and foot. The hotel itself could do with a slight update and better cleaning in the rooms .. looked a little rushed. Food was lovely but I think they need more choice or more availability as 2 out of 5 dishes were sold out by 6.30pm Had a good nights...

I have visited this hotel on a number of occasions now and it has become my preferred location in Reading. I am a very regular visitor to Reading on business. Central Reading is well covered by all the main chain hotels and I have stayed in most at one time or another. But this competition does not reflect in good...

I frequently stay at this small family-run hotel near the centre of Reading whilst working away. At the end of a long day at the office, this is a very nice hotel to return to. The lovely family that runs it makes the hotel seem like a home-from-home. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is very friendly and helpful....

I travel between Reading , London and Theale. The location is perfect and the staff are always super helpful and accommodating. Even to my dietary requirements they went out of their way to cater for me. The lounge area is great to work from and grab a latte or beer at anytime. Anyone who needs consistent service , clean rooms...
