It has been four years since we last stayed at the Hillingdon Prince. We have family who live in a very small apartment in Reading, but we chose to stay at the hotel again to give everyone some space. It is just a short bus...More
I like this hotel. It has a classy reception area. The staff are smart and attentive. The rooms vary in size and look reflecting this being a house conversion. Have tried two rooms. A small one on the ground floor and a large one on...More
Overall pleased with my stay at this hotel, booked this over the Reading Festival weekend so really only needed it to shower and sleep in. When we arrived, the hotel staff were really helpful, showed us to our room promptly and helped carry luggage. We...More
We stayed here for 1 night. Our room was in a separate building that apparently used to be a carriage house.
The room was decent. A little small and dated, but it served its purpose. We liked the mini fridge and dishes! They even provided...More
We stayed here over the bank holiday to go to Reading Festival. My boyfriend accidentally booked us a twin room but the staff offered to switch us to a double room. The room itself was clean and comfortable - we would definitely stay again. Thank...More

I think it would be best to contact the hotel directly with your questions. I now, on occasion, I have been able to check into a hotel earlier but it all depends on whether or not the room is ready. It is possible they would have better rates if you stay longer but again, it is best to check with them. Hotels often have special deals depending on the season.

The majority of our rooms have been renovated. We have brand new club rooms that cost just £10 per room per night extra. Most of our rooms are standard rooms and then we have a few budget rooms that have not been refurbished. Non refurbished rooms are sold as budget rooms and are much cheaper in price. The number of each room type that we have varies as we are renovating rooms all the time and have a team of builders making many improvements. I hope this answers your question.
