I stayed here for last year's birthday and it was lovely!! The staff was very helpful and utterly sweet, when they found out it was my birthday they made a fuss about making me smile and giving me tiny tokens. The room was enormous and perfect with bath and shower and a gorgeous desk I used to sit and write...

Historic building with character. Private car park at the rear Comfy bed and quiet room. Bath and separate shower. Excellent breakfast. So convenient for visiting Oxford as the bus stops right outside the guest house and takes you to the Ashmolean where you can get a hop on hop off sightseeing bus. We also had 10% discount on our dinner...

We got this on a deal with Voyage Prive. We were a bit taken aback when we arrived as the whole front was covered in scaffolding as they were decorating. However we were given a room in the courtyard and we could not fault it - bright, clean, A fully stocked kitchenette, great shower, warm, comfortable bed and very quiet....

A one night stay in this former Coaching Inn dating back to the 15th Century blended so well with the pretty village of Woodstock, very close to Blenheim Palace. Our greeting at reception was warm and friendly. The room - we were upgraded to a larger one - was well appointed with a bend of authentic age and modern amenities....

We booked using a Travelzoo voucher and booked over the phone with no issues. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist and she knew that we had a cream tea booked and asked when we wanted it, After being talked through the dining options in Woodstock, including the discounts offered for residents, we were shown up to our...

We stayed for one night on an offer which gave us a bottle of prosecco and delicious cream tea. Lovely to enjoy our drinks by a log fire (still chilly in April). Our welcome was friendly and very attentive. The room was well decorated and the bed particularly comfortable. We did have a room at the front of the hotel,...

Spacious, clean and well decorated rooms. Friendly staff, delightful cream tea and nice breakfast. However, if you're disturbed by road noise choose a room at the back as the traffic kept us awake most of the night. I'd also suggest you choose a room on the top floor as the noise of the romantic liaisons of the couple in the...

Thank you for your kind review, we are really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and that you found your cream tea delightful.   We are sorry you were disturbed by both sets of noises, we do have triple glazing in all our rooms which face the road to try and combat this issue, which generally works.  We look forward to welcoming you back one day.

When we checked in we were given room 10 a delightful room In the eves, very quaint with sloping floors and exposed beams, the room was very large with...

Visited with family and we had 4 rooms (two couples had dogs), and we found the whole time we were there wonderful. The building and rooms are full of character, and because we had 4 bedrooms, we were able to look at each other's rooms - which we found with delight that they all had different charisma. Our bed was...

The Marlborough Arms is a beautiful 15th century coaching inn, situated in the heart of Woodstock, overlooking historical streets and offers Bed and Breakfast. Whilst guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings they still have good links to the M40. The hotel has been elegantly finished in a classic style in-keeping with the character of the building and surrounding area, with contemporary touches throughout. Guests can also take advantage of the inn's own car park located directly behind the property. Each of the thirteen luxurious en-suite bedrooms are all individually themed with a focus on comfort and relaxation. All rooms differ in shape, size and style, ranging from the Cobalt Room, which is situated overlooking the courtyard which has a contemporary feel with beautiful sensuous fabrics and natural morning light, through to the Sepia Room, which is a very large room with a striking interior of deep greys and gentle soft tones, set off with modern lamps and cushions. All of the rooms have flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdriers, irons and ironing boards.
