This hotel package for our anniversary, and as a husband's birthday present from the kids, was excellent: a cream tea each day, fantastic three course a la carte dinner with a gin cocktail included and a wonderful breakfast: so many choices and the Eggs Royale to die for. Very good, friendly service - the maitre d' was very attentive and...

My husband and I went for an afternoon celebration tea at the feathers. We had high expectations having previously checked it out on their web- site. We took a seat near a cosy fire in very pleasant surroundings and eagerly awaited our treat. Imagine our surprise, to be told by the young man running the restaurant, that at 4.30pm on...

Fiona, Thank you for your review and it is truly disappointing that we were unable to serve you afternoon tea on this occasion. I have spoken with the Kitchen brigade to ensure we are always ensuring we have additional cake and scones so that no one else has a similar experience to yourselves. I do hope we are able to...

Really nice Hotel in a lovely village Very quaint & English, just what you would expect Stayed in a suite, lovely room & bathroom Food was nice but nothing special. Time for the bad parts: The double bed was uncomfortable, it was 2 singles zipped together & I kept rolling to the middle! Not what I would expect for a...

This is our 2nd visit here and we left a little disappointed, probably not to return... The good:- Booking was easy (direct) and Monica was extremely helpful and polite. Great location, and quaint little hotel with lots of nice features. Whilst rooms are not massive, they are Clean with good amenities - everything you need...We've seen some people's gripes around...

I booked The Feathers as an all exclusive package for ourselves and four other friends for an overnight get together as we all live some distance apart. We arrived at the hotel at 3 pm and were shown to our rooms by a very friendly and polite man on reception. He confirmed that our meal had been booked for 8...

Just spend two nights at the Feathers for our anniversary. The rooms are nice, staff are friendly and very helpful. We had afternoon tea on arrival, the food was lovely and fresh. Great breakfast selection. This is a lovely quirky hotel. Although we are not gin drinkers the gin bar is quite impressive. Blenheim Palace is just a walk away.

Stayed here on Thursday 20th, using a Wowcher and the Hotel and staff were wonderful. Received a Superior Double room, which was actually an Annexe room, just a few yards from the main hotel (room 52). Check-in was swift and staff very helpful. We even had a Gin Experience included in the package and it was definitely worth it. Dinner...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights last week at this Hotel. It is set in a pretty village with Blenheim Palace within walking distance. What to say about it? It was quirky, an old building with many old and original features and lots of nooks and crannies, winding stairways and old furniture. Unfortunately they have for some reason mixed...

Great location for a short break. Hotel is very comfortable and quiet. Lovely decoration and full of atmosphere. Oozes history. Fabulous bar serving over 400 types of gin! Petre's knowledge of the different gins was incredible.
