Very comfortable and homely hotel with excellent breakfast through the famous Turl Street Kitchen. Room was large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The owners are aware the wifi is rubbish, and the room was slightly hot during the night due to aggressive heating. However, we had a lovely stay and would recommend.

I had an overnight stay for work. The staff were kind and helpful as soon as I arrived and also helped me with directions around Oxford. The room was lovely, comfortable, warm and clean. I would definitely come again.

I stayed here one night in January. The location is perfect - right in the centre of Oxford - and the rooms are lovely. Spacious, neat, clean and they have character. My room (’The Red Room’) overlooked one of the colleges which was nice. The room also comes with hair dryer, kettle, tea, coffee, hot choclate, milk, sugar, cookies, shampoo...

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We will look in to black out blinds and will get the pillows replaced in the Red Room. We are currently looking in to improving the wifi and hope to be able to do so very soon! Your feedback is very much appreciated. We hope to see you...

Quirky room, full of character with plenty of space. If you don't need parking this is a great place to stay - right in the centre of Oxford but on a relatively quiet road.. Breakfast was lovely too, served in the excellent Turl Street kitchen, round the corner. If you need to leave early, you can make your own continental...

We spent 2 nights in Oxford and the Tower House was the complete package. The charming staff, the soothing decor, the excellent breakfast and the fantastic location made for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in Oxford. Walking distance to all the main colleges and tourist attractions. Turl Street Kitchen just around the corner.

I chose the B&B based on its location and price. The place is basically at the center of Oxford and within 10 minute walk get basically get to you to everywhere. The Gloucester Green is just 10 minute walk away so it was very convenient for me. I had the Yellow Room, and given I was traveling solo, the room...

A pleasant stay in this well located, clean, and efficient hotel. Quirky Check In/Check Out via the restaurant next door, but the restaurant staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was very good and easy to work at next door restaurant. Maybe not for novice travelers, but certainly manageable. No surprises. A similar comment to one made below, I'm quite...

Lovely, spacious, quiet room with a gigantic bathroom half the size of the bedroom. Very comfortable bed but it was annoying that it squeaked a bit when you got into or out of it -- otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. Nice hosts. Around the corner from and managed by the same people who own the Turl Street Kitchen restaurant.

Perfectly located in the centre of Oxford. Our room was very cozy (little blue). Our room was on the Main Street, which was quite noisy on the Monday morning. And there can be a wait for the shared bathroom in the morning if the accommodation is busy.

You couldn't ask for a better Oxford location - the Tower House is within easy walking distance to Oxford's main attractions. The House itself oozes historical charm and quirkyness with sloping floorboards and thick beams. The breakfast at the nearby Turl St Kitchen was good standard English fare served by friendly staff. We enjoyed the little extras in the room...
