Have used this hotel before and enjoyed our 2 night stay again. The free parking is s massive plus the hotel is clean the room was good the breakfast was nice. The best though is the location it is only a pleasant 10-15 min stroll into the city centre or a 5 min bus ride which stops right outside all...

Although not beautifully decorated, the hotel is ideal for its short walk in the city centre. Took about 15 minutes. Price reflects the less modern decor. Off road parking. Room was clean and all necessary services provided, such as TV, WiFi and kettle. Breakfast was good but service was a bit slow.

Thanks to this hotel for allowing me to drop most of my luggage off several days before my actual booking, while I went backpacking down the Thames. The hotel is interesting, with a very good breakfast included. There's a good bus service into Oxford -- or indeed across Oxfordshire. My room was an odd shape, and hot, even in late...

Stayed here for one night Saturday 3rd December firstly, the owner was very friendly and helpful, we arrived on the Saturday morning and asked if we could park the car until check in later that day, no problem, gave us a map showed us which way to go etc. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable, tea/coffee making facilities, hair...

My sister-in-law and I had a short break, while her Mum is in respite care. We are on a limited budget, needing an interesting city, and budget accommodation. This hotel had prices that enabled us to have an extra day compared to other venues, as Oxford is an expensive city. It was a 15 minute, easy, flat walk into town....

Stayed here for 2 nights. Only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Oxford. Room was clean and quiet overlooking the car park. Plenty of room to park and was able to leave car after check out while we went for a last walk around Oxford. Full breakfast was also included in the price. Would stay here again when...

Near walking proximity to the city centre, hence didn't have to move the car, which is a bonus and clean room. Unfortunately they are the only good points. The hotel is very tired with dated décor and lacklustre décor in the rooms. Hosts were polite and friendly. On the two nights I stayed the bar was closed for both, so...

The good thing about this hotel is the free parking and location. That is about it. The room was very 70s. The bed was uncomfortable and only came with one pillow. Cleanliness was a bit suspect. Noise from road was loud all night. Breakfast was bland too. No problems with friendliness of staff but the condition and decor of the...

this place has character, is close to the centre of town, has free parking and the owners are friendly. As per other reviews, it is a little dated, but clean. would happily stay here again. I really do not understand the very negative reviews.

We had a room in an annexe. I was happy with the room and the facilities. So the place is dated, but the hotel is less than a mile from the city centre and parking was included in the very reasonable price. The people on reception were friendly and helpful. I've stayed in many hotels both in the UK, USA...
