The Cotswold Lodge Hotel is within easy walking distance of Oxford town centre and benefits from the peacefulness of its location. The hotel is beautifully kept and the staff are fantastic. I stay there regularly to visit my grand-daughter who is studying at Oxford University and always have a fantastic welcome. I look forward to my next stay!

My husband and I spent two nights at the Cotswald Lodge in April. Our room, though small, was beautifully located on the ground floor opening onto the enclosed terrace. If one of us was using the desk, the other couldn't pass by to use the bathroom. It was sparkling clean, but the carpeting is in need of replacement. The decor...

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting oxford. Very clean and presentable hotel within 10 minutes walking distance to the centre. The room was very comfortable with a super king size bed. We had breakfast before we left which was of the highest standard.

Beautiful hotel and a lovely stay! We booked a larger room which although very comfortable it was only the bed which was larger. Very clean and had tea coffee making facilities, toiletries were good quality but the shower was disappointing, not very powerful at all. I had to put a pillow by the door at night to try and block...

The hotel was very unique, well placed near the centre, quiet and full of character. We had a very warm welcome and plan to return. The restaurant food was excellent. All the staff were attentive and made us feel special. Location is close to museums.

Stayed 2 nights- the location was good and the room was clean. My only negative was that the hotel called after check out and tried to charge us for a breakfast we didn't have. The gentleman on the phone even stated he had taken the order himself- we had had breakfast at another hotel and had already checked out at...

Overpriced and not very good. Upon checking in was told the shower was not working and the rooms themselves don't allow you to control temperature so caught a cold staying over. To make matters worse, when my colleague checked in later in the evening she was given a complimentary room upgrade?! How is that fair?! Don't bother wasting your time...

While visiting Oxford for a 3-night stay we discovered our initial reservation at another lodging much less than desirable. Checked out Cotswold Lodge and they eagerly made accommodations for us. What a wonderful experience. We needed 2 rooms; Clive B was personable and understanding and did his best to provide us with the best two rooms and a great rate....

Only a ten minute walk into the centre of Oxford, good freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Friendly helpful staff, Restaurant was a bit pricey with a poor menu, but overall a pleasant relaxing stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Cotswold Lodge during or two day visit to Oxford. I must say that the location is fantastic, a short walk to the City Centre but also has a bus stop immediately outside. We found our stay a real pleasure. The hotel is beautiful, clean and a real homely feel. The staff were helpful...
