An initial call to book is met with friendliness, a raft of can-dos to requests for specific bedding, decaffeinated drinks and dairy-free products. Check in is met with the same first class concierge demeanour from the front desk. Rooms are immaculate, cosy and appear to have been kitted out very recently in a luxe-lite modern style. The temperature is easy...

This hotel is in a great position on the main road into Oxford with a bus stop outside or just a 10 minute walk. Even though it was on the main road it was lovely and quiet with plenty of car parking. The food and the service was really good, not all things in life are perfect and things do...

Visted on New Year's Eve They have a large sign outside the place stating 'non residents welcome' So there we were coming up to midnight, looking for a place a drink to bring in the New Year. Went in as a respectable family. Asked on reception - Asian guy said 'Are you residents?' - no but we mentioned the sign...

We have been staying at the Cotswold Lodge for many many years years & are never disappointed as the management do everything possible to make us feel at home! The staff are all helpful & attentive & make sure that all our requirements are met. The only hiccups seem to occur with the breakfast service but we have learned to...

Nice property. Staff was helpful and the heritage places were nearby at walkable distances, which helped. This was our first trip to UK. Staying in Cotswold added to the pleasure. The ambience is typically English which is good. Heriatge places, like old colleges were nearby, at walkable distances. We would recommend this hotel to every kind of visitor.

First time here and will definitely go again. Staff very friendly, room a bit small but very comfortable and clean. Food really nice. Plenty of parking and an easy walk into the city centre. Booked through one of their package deals and feel it was very good value.

Ideally situated very close to Oxford Town Centre, half a mile walk, we found the accommodation, customer service, food, organisation and facilities all excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel for a short or long stay.

Stayed here for 3 days over yhe new year. Good value with a good new year gala dinner. A few staff glitches but sorted ok. Bathrooms pretty small but very clean. The bar was good - run by Barry who was very helpful & pleasant. Sited a15 minute walk from the centre of Oxford. A good Base.

staff friendly, food good but no change of menu on daily basis gala dinner could have started hour earlier as meal did not finish until 2300 bar ran out of sherry, baileys and southern comfort (poor stock control)

Once again we enjoyed a warm welcome and helpful attentive staff who helped to make this a very comfortable and refreshing break. Room this time was small but comfortable and well equipped. Good food. Hotel is ideally situated for walking into Oxford or enjoying the nearby park.
