We were satisfied, the staying in YHA Oxford fulfills our expectations. Large room with bathroom, clean, comfortable beds. But in the March season would be great if heating in the room works (there was a bit coldly).

Hi, can the bikes be stored in your room if you wish?
We have had guests occasionally store bikes in their private rooms that they want to be closer to rather than leaving them outside the building. This would only be suitable in a private room. Couple of things to note - we don't have a lift, so a bike would need to be carefully carried upstairs; whilst our rooms are spacious they don't tend to have empty walls to prop bikes against, so certainly any number of bikes would be a little awkward.

Thanks for the query. We've had around 20 bikes in our bike shed on occasions when cycling parties visit, but it's usually much quieter than this. There are bars set in the concrete which you can use to attach locks to - you can fit 12 bikes directly locked on to these. Hope this info helps.

Is there parking facilities or any parking nearby? Thanks
There is some restricted street parking close to the hostel, which may be useful depending on what days of the week you're staying and how long you need to park for. This is limited to 2hours during the daytime but is unrestricted between 18:30 and 08:30 each night and all day on Sunday. For longer term parking we'd recommend using the Park & Ride. The closest to the hostel is Seacourt, by the western park of the ring-road. It's a 15 minute walk from that car park or a short bus ride. There is always space to drop-off outside the hostel, so it's possible to drive down and leave luggage etc rather than carry these on the buses. There are city centre car parks, but these charge much, much more than the park and ride and can get very busy. I hope that this answers your questions, but please do not hesitate to ask for more information.

Hello, Firstly, I'm not a staff of YHA so my answer might be speculative. Will advise you to still seek direct answers from them however, I notice that all their room i.e. 6 bed/4bed/2bed have an ensuite and YHA also have a seperate bath and toilet on the upper floor. February isn't a peak time or high season for hotels in UK or Ireland but you might want to specifically check for events in the town which kind of dictates artificial high season. You could also seek to change or amend your booking at the hotel as their rates seem to be always on the fixed side. Hope it helps and like I said earlier, ask them directly please.

All of the rooms in our hostel have electronic locks on them, so only guests issued with a key-card can access the bedrooms. We have a breakfast buffet with a range of hot and cold items on it. There are cereals, fruit, yogurt, croissants, cheese and meats, plus everything you need for a Full English breakfast. Everyone having breakfast can also help themselves to tea, coffee and juice. This is priced at £5.75 for adults and £3.25 for children under 10 years old. Please don't hesitate to contact us at the hostel if you have any more questions.
