Really liked this little place. The owner was really nice and the rooms were comfy. Missed breakfast but we were close enough to somewhere else. They allowed us to keep the car there whilst we went on a little jolly around the city. Would recommend.

We only had one night spare, so chose Oxford as our destination. The Newton House was clean, well presented and perfect for a couple wishing to base a themselves within easy each of transport links. The free parking at Newton is absolutely essential in Oxford as there is little provision for over night stays in the city. Martin was welcoming...

Our room looked nothing like the room pictured on the website. Double room with en suite bathroom. Very accommodating staff, as we arrived hours before check in. Were allowed a bathroom to clean up (after an overnight flight into Heathrow) and luggage storage. Short (10 minute) walk into city center and Oxford University.

We chose this place due to its location near the center of town and available parking. The bed and breakfast is worn down, & the movement of other guests can be easily heard. Our room was on the entry floor, and the door would slam loudly anytime someone entered. We woke in the middle of the night with water dripping...

On arrival I was given a key to a room and told where to park the car by I assume a student worker. The kitchen still had pots and pans on drainer and it was late afternoon. We were then left to wander up and down the stairs looking for our room with luggage. The numbers were not as you...

Our room was located on the first floor facing rear car park. Room was very small, with small and squeaky double bed. We came only for one night so did not have too much stuff, but if we came for 3 nights we would have nowhere to store anything. There was one very small wardrobe with few hangers, vanity table...

The entrance is tired and unwelcoming. The room we were allocated was very cramped but did look like the picture on the booking site;how they took the photo makes it look bigger than it actually is.The bed was smaller than a standard double and was very creaky and uncomfortable. The en-suite shower and toilet was small too, not good for the...

Very cosy, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast options, felt very welcome as guests, nice room, walkable distance to the city centre (no need to get the bus), parking access, great for families, friends and couples.

Second time we've stopped here, both stays for two nights. Good value for money. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Excellent breakfast, fresh and hot full English. Ten minute walk into centre or plenty of buses if you want. Nearby pub does great value pub-grub and decent ale or stretch your legs and go into town.

This was a cosy little place for me to bunker down for the night and prep for my nights' festivities out on the town. The staff were extremely helpful and ever willing to cater to my needs though conditions as you would expect were somewhat cramped. My breakfast was a cheap and cheerful affair though this is what I'd come...
