For me this hotel rates highly on my list for the price advertised - rooms are generously sized, bathroom modernly refurbished, it is conveniently located across a bus stop that can get you into the city or a bus coach station in less than 10mins. A return coach from London would cost about £20 and travel time is 1hr 40mins....

We stayed here for one night. The room was a good size, clean and nicely presented with a mini kitchen area. The bathroom was excellent. In our dealings with reception staff, they were courteous and helpful. We decided not to have breakfast as we wanted to eat in Browns in Oxford city centre. The bus stops almost opposite, so this...

We stayed here for two nights as a family of three. Our room was a one-room family "suite", with two beds, a four-seater dining table, and a little kitchen facility. The bathroom was on the small side with a mirror not directly over the sink but on the opposite wall. After close to 30 years of global travel with my...

I arrived at 2pm and my room was ready. It was a double room, huge, with on suite bathroom with shower above bath. Comfortable bed and there was a kitchenette were you could buy soft or alcoholic drinks and prepare a meal in a microwave. I did not have breakfast but I believe they bring it to your room. The...

Excellent B&B 2 miles from city centre and straight walk in. Room was excellent and great having the fridge and refreshments on offer. Didn't opt for the breakfast as we had eaten breakfast for 10 days Liked the smell though Great place to stay

Don't normally stay in B&B's as had bad experiences - but our stay at Marlborough House was just lovely. Spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was second to none. They thought of everything - milk, water in fridge - wine and beer (at an additional cost) - cereals, plenty of tea, coffee....even toiletries in bathroom. Location fantastic - short...

The hotel was pretty average and a strange mix of hotel and guesthouse. The room we had was certainly generously sized but very old fashioned considering it had a good modern bathroom. We weren't there long enough to make use of the kitchen area but I'm sure it would be useful for longer stays. I thought it was overpriced and...

Room was Ok, nothing to shout about - certainly no nice inviting lighting as shown in pictures, so maybe the house is currently going through a make-over, not sure as we had 10 modern spotlights in our room & a recently modernised bathroom, which just highlighted how out- dated the rest of the room/ house/ furnishing was. Although the beds...

The room was spacious and clean and breakfast, delivered to the room was fine, yet still we feel that we have paid way over the odds for what is essentially a B&B on the outskirts of Oxford.
