My wife and I stayed in this three star hotel for five nights in mid May. We booked this hotel six month prior to our stay with three considerations in mind: Near to bus and rail. Within walking distance to the colleges and places to eat. Good value. The Royal Oxford met all of those conditions. The train is 5...

Dear Sir Thank you very much for your review and I am glad you and your wife enjoyed your stay with us. It is unfortunate that the hotel doesn't have a lift, however we compensate the luck of it by offering porterage to every customer, therefore there is no need to carry your luggage. With the bedrooms being located on...

We stayed here for 1 night on arrival to the UK. This was our favorite hotel of the trip.. Very, very clean and large bathroom, The room was plenty big for us with a comfortable bed. The front desk girls were very nice and helpful. Right across the street from the train station and a very short walk to the...

The Hotel is ideally situated for the train station, city centre and colleges. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely, couldn't wish for more. The bed was very comfortable , giving a very good nights sleep. I would certainly stay there again if I go back to Oxford.

Great location and 5-star staff made this hotel perfect for our visit to Oxford. Room and amenities were well above expectations. Air conditioning was very quiet and easy to adjust. Bed was a little firm for our liking but served its purpose after long days of walking around the city.

A most enjoyable stay. Excellent and friendly service, a real pleasure to have stayed here. Excellent spacious rooms with adjustable air conditioning, and a very well fitted and sizeable en-suite. This will certainly be my chosen hotel in Oxford when I re-visit. Thank you!

Weekend away with my sisters. The staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and unusually water etc was free. Would definitely stay there again and would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to friends and family.

I was in town for business and while i didn't make great use of the hotels facilities, the rooms were very clean (mine was also small, but didn't need the space), the staff was very friendly. You'll leave your room key with them, which is fairly odd, but they were always quick to answer the door no matter what time...

Just meeting friends so wanted a convenient hotel. Could not be more so. Right by the station (and Said Business School) and just 10 minutes into town. Staff were very friendly and allowed us to leave a couple of rucksacks in reception whilst we had lunch, and met others. Rooms clean and comfortable, with large bathroom. Room 208 looked out...

Two minute walk from train station and five minute walk from bus station. My sister and I shared a twin room. Quite adequate for what we wanted. Street side rooms not overly noisy even though this is on a busy intersection. First hotel I've stayed in where they provide fruit as well as the usual tea/coffee making. Room was clean...

Dear Joan Thank you very much for your review and I am pleased that you have enjoyed your stay with us. Staff were nice and the room was clean and comfortable. I would have much preferred a key card system rather than having the key left at reception and I would feel happier if ID was required before being given your room key. Also, a safe in the room would have been nice.
