Left today feeling totally unimpressed with the service provided - it clearly states online the hotel has a car park with a £5 charge. I booked this hotel purely for this convenience to be told when we arrive the car park has been sold to a private business and isn't open. So the next best option is to pay for...

I can say that the noise of the location was no where near as bad as say ... Shoreditch (we lived in Shoreditch for over a year), but we did have a 1st floor room where we could hear groups of people (sometimes drunk and rowdy) walk by, one of them waking us up at 4:30am. Most people don't hang...

If you are walking the Thames path this is situated a short walk from the trail (5minutes away), friendly and helpful staff, basic clean rooms, not a high class hotel but fruit in the room was a nice touch.

I stayed at the hotel for work, really good location across the road from the train station and within walking distance for the main city centre. I arrived a little late on the evening and the staff member was really friendly and helpful. The room was nice a good size and spotless with everything you would need, nice touch with...

Travelling from Kidderminster for a visit to the New Oxford Theatre, the Royal was perfectly located. The theatre was less than half a mile away from the theatre and the choices for eating should not have left anything to be desired. The room was adequate for our one night, but you would not want to stay there for a week....

I was visiting for a course at the Said Business school. Hotel is ideally situated for this, and only a short walk to the train station which I managed easily despite my bags. The room was clean and quiet. I appreciated the touches of fresh fruit, coffee, tea, water, cookies very much. Very pleasant experience, no complaints.

Comfortable room with water, fruits, coffee, tea and biscuits, good location (the hotel is near the train station and the city centre) and a very friendly staff. Everything I needed for a short stay in Oxford. I might come back.

Useful location. Mostly friendly staff. Small, but tastefully decorated, clean room with good tea/coffee making facilities and fresh fruit. However... Soundproofing isn't the best. You can clearly hear people's conversations next door. We also had a massive issue with the shower: You need a Phd to operate the damn thing and we couldn't get it to stay warm for love...
