Reviewed yesterday NEW

Our second time staying at this excellent facility. The room was superb - quiet, super-clean, modern, overlooking a peaceful courtyard. Staff were most cooperative, and could not have been more helpful in arranging trips, etc.; breakfast and dinner at Quod restaurant were of very high quality. Could not have picked a better place to stay in Oxford - on the... More

Stayed 3 nights , staff helpful, room on back of hotel, very quiet, if you want to treat yourself would definately recommend. Try not to park under the trees, your car will be covered in bird poo, although they did send a lovely Spanish lad to help clean it off

First class hotel in central location in city centre ,follow sat navigation postcode for hotel parking as difficult to find. Rooms are nice and spacious, lounge/library quiet and relaxing restaurant top notch food. One niggle no tea making facilities in room so have to use room service, at the price of rooms should be complimentary.

Staff were well trained and friendly but the Hotel did not live up to expectations. It is in need of updating. The ceiling of the room we had was badly stained from a leak upstairs and a cracked sink in the bathroom. The noise level needs to be addressed. We couldn't sleep and were like zombies the next day. It... More

Thank you for your review. We’re so sorry to hear you didn't sleep well. As a centrally located city hotel we cannot promise absolute quiet but the rooms at the rear tend to be a little quieter than those front facing. Perhaps we can allocate a rear facing room in your next stay. I'm also sorry you found the room... More

We had a wonderful afternoon tea at the Old Bank Hotel. The dining room is lovely, bright and open. Our server was very polite, and the mid-range tea option had TONS of food: scones, several different savory sandwiches and a few different sweets. I would highly recommend for a surprisingly good value tea experience!

We were only in Oxford for a single night and decided to treat ourselves to the Old Bank. Fabulous. Really welcoming, friendly staff and a very stylish, comfortable hotel. And... a real bonus in Oxford, it has a car park!

Great location, interior, design, staff, and the location is central to all shops and colleges. Very glad we stayed here. It made a good base to visit Highclere Castle and Blenheim Palace using Addison Lee hired car. Local bus service very good. Both nearby.

We just returned from a trip of a lifetime. We went to Praugue, Germany, France, and ended our trip in Oxford at the Old Bank Hotel. We were tired and ready to be home until our stay here. I booked this hotel from recommendations on Trip Advisor and my husband and I stayed four nights. We were not disappointed. The location was perfect for touring historic Oxford - you walk out the door and are across the street from University Church and the Radcliffe Camera. Everything we wanted to see was close by - just a walk in... More

Thank you, we’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and that you took advantage of our guest bicycles to get a real feel for Oxford! The tracks besides the river and canals show a side of Oxford that most don't usually see, and well worth a look in my opinion. See you next time. Kind Regards, Mima More
