This is an excellent , stylish hotel with great attention to detail. The service is exemplary and it made our stay that much more enjoyable. We had booked a deluxe double but when I discovered it didn't have a bath ( there was a beautifully designed shower room with little seat and acres of marble!) and expressed disappointment we were...

The crew in the hotel was extremly friendly and welcoming. They tried to comfort you in any possible way. The room was nice, clean, the bed comfortable. They changed the bedding int a hypoallergic one, because I have problems with feathers and downs. But I had problems with the heating. It was very cold in the late evening and the...

An exquisite hotel squeezed into a lovely old building in the centre of Oxford. Food served to us in the dining room was outstanding. What's not to like? Well, the room prices are steep, and on paying to be asked if I wanted to add a gratuity for staff was embarrassing, especially having already sustained the 12.5 per cent "discretionary"...

I have stayed in a number of places in and around Oxford (while visiting on business trips) and think that the Old Parsonage as the most "Oxford"-like place to stay while visiting. It's location is also excellent for walking around the main city and university areas. The rooms are very comfortable, and the food (including afternoon tea) is excellent. All...

This a a warm and luxurious hotel. Our accomodation was modern, stylish for the era and the staff are ever helpful. I would definitely recommend the accomodation and the restaurant. We went to dinner at the restaurant and were treated to delicious food and good service. The walking tour of Oxford was a highlight and was organised through the hotel...

Where to start with 'the old parsonage' it's all in the little touches..arrived at this beautiful hotel to my name emblazoned on my own parking space..welcomed at the door by the polite staff, given a beautiful leather key and shown to our room by a charming informative young chap. Staff were polite, attentive and approachable. The room was beautiful, not...

The hotel is full of History, so charming, and has all the ammenities...Attention to so many details, the bathroom, linen, the fixtures...all is beatiful and has great taste and quality. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious, the fireplace makes you want to stay and not leave....And is so close to the city town center.

We loved the refurbished Old Parsonage. The rooms are gorgeous: a little small but the space is used well and they are cosy with fantastic bathrooms (underfloor heating, luxury linen, automatic night light, great shower). The rest of the hotel is equally cosy with fireplaces, artwork and a library. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel. Very central location and beautifully decorated comfortable rooms. Really enjoyed coffee in the hotel library. The service was efficient and friendly and there was car parking which made our trip much easier.

Well located, very well refurbished, uniformly charming staff and a good breakfast. So what's not to like? Well parking is challenging, (just like all of Oxford) And, like old bookstores, The Old Parsonage has more stairs inside than it looks to have room for. But the climb was worth it.
