The hotel is full of History, so charming, and has all the ammenities...Attention to so many details, the bathroom, linen, the fixtures...all is beatiful and has great taste and quality. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious, the fireplace makes you want to stay and not leave....And is so close to the city town center.

We loved the refurbished Old Parsonage. The rooms are gorgeous: a little small but the space is used well and they are cosy with fantastic bathrooms (underfloor heating, luxury linen, automatic night light, great shower). The rest of the hotel is equally cosy with fireplaces, artwork and a library. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel. Very central location and beautifully decorated comfortable rooms. Really enjoyed coffee in the hotel library. The service was efficient and friendly and there was car parking which made our trip much easier.

Well located, very well refurbished, uniformly charming staff and a good breakfast. So what's not to like? Well parking is challenging, (just like all of Oxford) And, like old bookstores, The Old Parsonage has more stairs inside than it looks to have room for. But the climb was worth it.

LOVE this hotel! Amazing service! This is exactly what I hoped in a country hotel. Roaring fire, beautiful facilities, newly renovated, delicious restaurant, and of course high tea. Highly recommend!!

Nicely refurbished, lovely guest only roof terrace and library area - needed on a busy weekend as the restaurant and bar area is very popular. We visited in February and despite freezing temperatures outside this hotel has a very cosy feel due to the roaring fire in the entrance hallway and use of rich colours internally. Well placed external lighting...

Thank you for your kind words. We are pleased to hear you took full advantage of our residents’ library; it is an oasis of calm, away from the vibrancy of the bar and restaurant which, as you point out, are very popular. You can be assured of a warm welcome at any time of year and we do hope to...

Once you get over the sticker shock, there is much to love about the Old Parsonage. It is the third closest hotel to central Oxford, and by a good bit the 'nicest'. It is also the priciest (though depending on the room, the Randolph can be higher). It is not for people who don't like small spaces or stairs, because...

Thank you for your review. During our refurbishment last year, we were keen to retain the aesthetic of the Old Parsonage whilst introducing modern comforts. We are a boutique property, representative of a high quality ‘country house’ ambience, so it is fair to say that we differ from US properties. We do recognise our many returning visitors and are also...

Good classic style hotel. No complaints. We have used this hotel on a number of occasions and it serves us well. Parking is also available, although it is very limited! Comfortable rooms and the restaurant serves reasonable food.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Oxford - great location. (As a result of this parking is difficult!) We have previously stayed at the sister hotel The Old Bank but I think this might be my new favourite. The rooms have been thoughtfully equipped and everything is of a very high quality. Our junior suite had plenty of room...

Stayed for 2 nights mid February. This hotel has been beautifully refurbished. The accommodation whilst not large has been carefully thought out and good use has been made of limited space. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food and service good. Particularly liked the library area. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you for your kind words. We are pleased to hear the refurbishment is to your liking. We are a boutique property and do always make the best use of available space; it is gratifying to learn that this is in evidence. We look forward to welcoming you on another occasion!
