I stayed in Oxford in January including a few nights at the Old Parsonage. It had been recommended by friends who raved about it. I can see why. I checked in hours early and a room was not ready but the staff were very helpful, set me in up in the library, and brought me coffee and biscuits. The quality...

I could have given this hotel a higher rating because it does offer good rooms and service, but issues with our room lead me to feel that a 3 is about right for our stay. First of all I would like to give credit to the check in/out process and the people working there. Excellent! We were allocated room 24...

Thank you for taking the time to provide such constructive feedback. Whilst I am pleased there were elements of your stay that were enjoyable, I must apologise for the inconvenience caused by the the lack of accessibility to your room, via the Pike Room. We could have and should have shown you an alternative route which would have allowed you...

We recently got married in Oxford and chose to have our reception at the Old Parsonage in the Pike Room. We also stayed there 2 nights and so did our friends who are a family of 4. We booked a standard double room and left it up to the hotel if we had a room in the new or older...

What a lovely friendly hotel, full of character and nothing was too much trouble. I was greeted by a lovely roaring fire and extremely efficient staff. Food was very good and the room a delight. We were upgraded too which was an added bonus! Perfect location. Sadly this trip was very brief vi but I am really looking forward to...

I'm very glad that I decided to select the Old Parsonage, it's absolutely lovely and stylish with warm service (although the heavily promoted heated floors in the bathroom didn't work and the shower room was very chilly...in fairness temperatures outside were an icy minus Celsius). The best hotel in Oxford in my view; despite the historic and slightly rustic or...

My stay was excellent. The hotel is quiet and yet close to the city centre. The staff is extremely attentive and embracing, with a ready smile and attention to detail. It is also helpful that one of the best restaurants in town is actually the house restaurant. The recently renovated rooms are very nice, in particular the heated bathroom floors...

We spent an absolutely lovely NYE here this year. My only regret was that we didn't have another night to spend in Oxford. We checked in on a rainy afternoon and walking into the reception area with the fireplace going definitely warmed up our day. The parking is a bit precarious but we had a small rental car that we...

Thank you for your kind words. So glad you enjoyed your stay with us; you obviously got the new year off to a great start. We do hope you will return to us, when you visit Oxford again. The historical nature and design of the hotel precludes us from being able to have a lift (elevator). For your reassurance, and...
