Booked in here simply because it was close to the venue of a gig we were going to. Our room was spacious and immaculate, the staff were very friendly and gave us some useful information about getting out & about, and the breakfast was lovely as well. I'd strongly recommend this as an option superior to many hotels

We stayed here on a cycle trip to Oxford and had secure bike parking. A 20 minute easy walk into town and past a few pubs and restaurants so no problem eating out nearby. Room was very clean, beds comfortable and shower fine. Breakfast was lovely - nothing in the amazing line but for the price perfect and exactly what...

I stayed for four nights while visiting my daughter and grandchildren who live close by. My room was on the second floor and was at the back overlooking the garden, so very quiet.. Everything worked well - good tea and coffee supplies, a small fridge for milk etc, hairdryer, tv with good reception, wifi - all of which made for...

We have stayed many times at the Acorn and always been very comfortable indeed. The location is wonderful, opposite the gastropub and right by the busstop into the city centre. Breakfast is delicious, home cooked and varied. The owners are incredibly helpful and kind. Wonderful in every way!

I spent just one night here but wanted to make a short post here to say how clean and comfortable it was. Also the staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect place to lay my head after a long day at my goddaughter's lovely wedding. Breakfast nice too.

My wife and I had only two days to spend in Oxford by way of a pleasant side trip in England. The Acorn made that visit all the more pleasant. Kate and Henry, our hosts, were both a delight, as was Annie the labrordoodle, who greeted us pleasantly each morning. Kate and Henry were very welcoming and provided an excellent...

This was pretty good. The bed was nice, I had a lovely shower and there was a charming view out of the dormer window in our top floor room. Breakfast was in a cosy little room downstairs and it was plentiful with lots of toast and butter and every good thing. There was also a dog, so that makes everything...

We had a lovely time at the Acorn Guest House with our hosts Kate and Henry. The English attention to detail really adds value to the experience. Being able to take a hot shower with their wonderful shampoo, sleep comfortably and have a tasty cooked breakfast in the morning is just marvelous. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting...

Stayed here for the one night to go to see a band at the O2 academy. Easy to find and a short walk to the venue. The room was lovely and clean. Super comfy bed and so quiet all night. Owners are really helpful too. Can't comment on breakfast as I left before it started.

This place isn't going to win awards. But if you've been looking for somewhere inexpensive for Oxford to stay - good luck. It's got to be one of the pricier of towns to stay in. This Guest House offers pretty simple accommodation but for the price which is good - the location is not far from the Oxford centre and...
