George is an excellent host. We arrived quite late and he was patiently waiting for us. He suggested several places to have dinner at that time that could serve us well if we mentioned his name! The room was really nice and super clean (the bathroom too). Reachable by bus directly from the station or even walking takes no longer...

In a strategic position for visiting the beautiful Oxford, reachable by bus or on foot at all hours in 20 minutes. Quiet, peaceful, good quality - price ratio. The young manager is very helpful and friendly: highly recommended for those who want to stay in Oxford. Next you will find an excellent fish and chips and a good pub.

I recently stayed in the double en-suit room and I think it was overall a good accommodation. The room was nice and spacious enough, the restroom quite small but very clean, which is always important. TV never worked, except for two channels, and I personally had a problem with lack of places where to hang a towel or let a...

After our first B&B was terrible this place saved our visit. We called and they had a room. We got there and were met by George who was very polite and courteous. He checked us in and showed us our room. It was great, nice clean room, room amenities, hot shower, it was great. Breakfast was very quick and again...

Though our room was not ready when we were told it would be, the manager was able to store our bags, so that worked for us. Our room was clean, and had an ensuite bathroom, which was nice. Bed was decent and all appliances worked in the room. The sheet had a bit of a weird smell (perhaps like heavy...

I'm sure you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere. The Ridings Guest House isn't terribly close to the centre of Oxford, and the rooms aren't that great. The locks on the doors were awful and the staff were quite difficult to get hold of / reluctant to help.

Lena is a wonderful host, all smiles and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are small, but clean and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful and with a bus stop out the front basically getting around is simple! Would definitely stay again.

It was average, the room was clean but that's the best that can be said about it. it wasn't very inviting when we arrived it felt as if no one was expecting us, when the door was opened every thing was covered in dust sheets, they were having decorating work done but still not exactly the welcome you want, neither...

The Ridings dishonoured our booking despite me booking and paying a deposit 5 months ahead. The owner refused to even look at our booking confirmation and would accept no resonsibility. It was Oxfords busy festival weekend. He bullied us into accepting some totally inferior replacement accommodation for a similar price but refused to refund our deposit! Eventually the booking agency...

Rather soul-less and slightly random decor but clean and everything seemed to be in good working order. No one lives on site but the man coming in to cook etc was polite and friendly and seemed like a hard worker. I was at the front of the house and the constant traffic on the wet road kept me awake the...
