I stayed here for a business trip in one of the suites. Modern friendly vibe to the hotel with fresh clean decor and most importantly a comfortable bed. Complimentary drink on arrival was a nice touch. Staff were lovely especially the manager Kara who could not help me enough. Excellent location for city centre. Would definitely stay again. Thanks again!

This hotel was everything that we needed- a large, comfy room close to the centre of Oxford. With parking if you book. We were checked in over the road in the cafe by a very friendly gentleman and were given a drink on the house before heading to our room. Pizzas in the cafe smelt great! Would recommend staying here.

We hope you’ll visit us again soon and perhaps have the opportunity to try our pizzas - we guarantee they taste as good as they smell. Thank you for taking the time to write a review.

This is not a hotel. It is a group of terraced houses stitched together. To get to a room you have to walk down the street, and go in another door. When you get there and want the wifi code, guess what back out on the street again. Went for business and the walls are that thin you can hear...

Dear Simon, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Although the hotel may look like "a group of terraced houses stitched together" - the main hotel was purpose-built in 2006 in the same style as the neighbourhood, so it would enhance and preserve the area, and the property opposite, which was built in 1888, originally as a...

I was under the impression that is is a decent hotel - given the images uploaded to the website and all the five stars rating comments. I even received a reconfirmation call and pre-arrival email. So far so good. I was surprised to learn it is located in a residential area. This means there is no shops around and requires...

This is my second time coming to this hotel and it always meets my expectations. The staff is very friendly and they always go above and beyond. I have now stayed in two differeny suites and I have found them very comfortable. It feels more like home than a hotel; if you are looking for something fun and unique this...

Expect a main stream brand hotel and this isn't for you. Rooms are home from home, each different and have their nuances. Only way to see what you like is to try. No staff fussing around, no keys loose, just a code to remember. Great location, cool walk through some of the best parts of Oxford to the centre if...

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is good choice if you want to spend most of your days out because the hotel itself has nothing special. When I saw the photos I had a idea of very beautiful place to be in but it looks like a hostel inside. It is not a 4-star hotel at...

The only good thing about the hotel is the location which is a 5-10 walk to the centre of Oxford, other than that I am struggling to think of any positives. The room was on the ground floor next to a room with a security light outside, this stays on till around 11pm, I would advise taking a night mask...

Dear Ismail, Thank you for your feedback which we appreciate and for you positive words about our good location, which is a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Oxford. The Ethos hotel was without a doubt the worst hotel for the money that we have ever stayed in at £105 per night plus tax and breakfast. On arrival late in the evening, we discovered that there is no reception and no on-site staff. Instead, we wandered around looking for staff as there are no clear signs and eventually phoned...

Dear Tom, Thank you for your review. We have investigated this thoroughly and I have listened to the call transcripts. At 12.16am you were left on hold for 4.15 minutes, at 12.19am you were left on hold for 40 seconds, and again at 12.21am you were again left on hold for 4.25 minutes.
