We stayed here as we wanted a cheap place to stay to visit Oxford. Rooms were clean and everything you expect from Travelodge. Rooms were nice and clean. There is easy access to Oxford using the park and ride bus around 5 mins walk away. I got sick while we were there and needed an ambulance in the night, the...

The hotel is everything you expect and it is good at its job. The reception is sparse but clean and bright and the reception team were friendly and welcoming. The head receptionist went out of her way to select a room that would suit an older couple. The rooms are made up for one, but ask at the desk and...

If your expectations are in line with what a Travelodge offers then this is a good base for a stay in Oxford. Stayed for a weekend with 3 friends for a girls weekend away and we just wanted a cheap base from where we could explore the city. This particular Travelodge is handily placed right by the Peartree Park and...

Friendly, welcoming staff - reception staff always greeted us and offered help with our bags. Offered to put us in a quiet area of the hotel (which really was quiet). Whole hotel was spotlessly clean & well kept. Bed was extremely comfortable. Wi-fi was good although had to reconnect a couple of times. Had to pay for parking but this...

We booked a family room. It was a basic small room with a double and two single beds. The bed I tried to sleep In was too hard and the pillows too. I had back ache and ear ache all night. The noise from upstairs, sounding like kids banging and running around carried on till 2am at least. The heater...

The bed covering was definitely inadequate. I was cold. There was no spare blanket or duvet. Increasing the electric heating would have been environmentally un acceptable and needless with sufficient bed cover.

Clean and tidy, and reasonably quiet considering its position. The parking ticket machine is a pain, you can't see its screen at night, because it doesn't light up until you have already pressed a button to select your car registration (be careful) as I pressed the wrong first letter, and ended up having to pay £4 twice, Grrrr!

It's not glamorous. It's not fancy. However, when the most important thing is a decent night's sleep and easy access to Oxford, it's perfect. The room was quiet, the bed was comfy, the shower was awesome, there was plenty of room, the telly worked and there was a very useful fridge (well, the window opened enough to be able to...

good value for the area and with the park and ride next door meant easy access to the city. Beware of slippy bathroom floor when wet, I was lucky to escape with bruises. Not many facilities around the hotel area but there is a petrol station next door for snacks

For Oxford, the price was pretty competitive and my stay wasn't bad: a standard room with standard features. As you would expect from any Travelodge really. No complaints but nothing to shout about either :)
