My wife and I stayed here on our roadtrip and were well impressed with the staff. The rooms were clean, the bathing facilities were also quite high quality. It's on the outskirts of city centre, but a close walk to most things. The breakfast is pretty meager, you may consider getting your own food or going out for breakfast.

Location is nice. Facilities are nice but showers are a little scarce in the morning. Staff is nice but they hang with each other most of the time speaking Spanish. Breakfast is included and, despite not really fancy, is quite nice, tea and coffee are also available for free. The atmosphere was not great, a lot of people just sleeping... More

I stayed in 12 bed mix in 23 Sept 16 for 2 nights. Which is okay but the horrible is I loss all my money that I put in my locked backpack cause the hostel locker can't work. I told to the Manager, the shorty with the Spanish accent called Alex. He can do nothing, the worst part is he... More

I stayed here a couple of days ago and had a very positive experience. This place is only 5 minutes walk (at most!) from the bus station and I'm guessing the same from the train station. A little over 5 mins to walk into town and around 10 mins away from all the architecture and University buildings. No need to... More

My sister and I stayed in Oxford for a couple days and thanks to the people we met here we felt like we belonged there. The staff was absolutely amazing. There's a really cool hang out spot on the roof that has TV and a bar with 1.50£ beers. When we first went up there the employees were all hanging... More

I stayed here with a friend in the 12 beds mixed dorm. Entire Hostel is very clean, super friendly and helpful staff, clean bathroom and showers, big rooms, well equipped kitchen, comfortable common area, very central (5 min to Centre by foot). Only disadvantage is: Across the street is a club, so quite noisy on Friday and Saturday night, but... More

I'd stayed here before and can say this hostel is still excellently located and without doubt the best hostel in Oxford. The locker situation is not as bad as it once was and it seems like not all the rooms are as cramped as the others. Something that is still an issue - and an issue in all the showers,... More

There are few excellent points to consider in favour of this hostel. i. Location is simply amazing as its very close to major attractions and railway station. ii. Staff can't be more friendly. iii. Serve free breakfast and provide other facilities like watching programmes, etc for free. iv. Their bar is cheap - not a professional bar but it's a... More
