This review is from September 2011. We promised them a review but have only just joined Tripadvisor - a promise is a promise!! My brother was getting married at The Rose & Crown just around the corner but we decided to stay in the Rose & Crown. We were very pleasantly surprised when we saw the place and were eagerly...

I stayed at the Rose and Crown with my partner in July. It was not worth the £85 a night but the staff seemed nice and the breakfast was good. The room was OK... Tv didn't work which usually doesn't bother me but I was ill one night and had to stay in. The bed was dirty around the sides....

Stayed here recently for two nights. The staff are non-existent, it's more or less look after yourself. Breakfast is a hit and miss affair cooked by someone who looks as if they've been recruited from a hostel. The room was mostly clean, but the noise from the busy main road was very bad. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We stayed there for a week and they didn't change our bed sheets, even having asked them twice. We asked for our bin to be emptied and tea bags to be replenished, they said for us to empty our OWN bin! We had to do this down the street. Breakfast was served only twice during our stay, other days they...

Great little place right in the heart of Henley. We stayed during women's Henley regatta and it couldn't have been more convenient. Breakfast limited but full 'english' is excellent. Parking is on-street, generally space easy enough to find but there is a waitrose car park 100m away Fabulous beer garden - heaven for smokers!

A lovely and enthusiastic landlord and staff, the beer was kept in great condition, and drank in a tidy, clean and sunny garden (although we concede the weather wasn't down to the landlord!). And to top it all off a breakfast to die for! Will highly recommend to others!

What really ,ales this b&b is the staff. They are honest courteous and knowledgable about the local area. I would rather visit this B&B than stay in a more expensive hotel nearby. Also the full English breakfast is an experience not to Be missed.

My wife and I stayed one night for a friend's wedding celebration. Great value - room was basic but very clean and well decorated. Quiet too, even though the pub fronts onto a road. Breakfast was superb. Parking is a bit of a problem, but managed to get in a space 50 yards from pub on the road. Staff very...

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night as we were attending a wedding across the road in the Phyllis Court Club. The Rose and Crown room for the night was less than half the price of the cheapest room at the Court Club, and was an easy 4-5 minute walk away. I called the owner the night before...

Stayed in the pub on a Sunday night with our two young children. I collected the keys at lunchtime and had a cracking pint of Brakspear Special too. The pub was quiet and Alan the landlord was very welcoming with time for a chat. It's no pretentious gastro pub - simple rooms, a nice breakfast and very relaxed. Exactly what...
