Our second visit to the elegant, sophisticated Phyllis Court Club. Beautiful setting on the Thames next to the Regatta finish point. Short walk into Henley, lovely riverside walks watching the rowers. Tasteful rooms, lovely table service breakfast overlooking the river.

Iconic and for me the best place to stay in Henley. Unbeatable setting with well-tended riverside lawns, easy parking and a short stroll into town. The client group is mature, empowered and highly respectable; I'd say this place meets their expectations. Spacious and very comfortable, Phyllis Court has character you don't always find in a similar quality hotel, with its...

As soon as you drive up to the hotel you get a sense of going back In time. Don't get me wrong this isn't an old fashioned hotel, this is an enclave of posh. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the view of the Thames spectacular, the staff are polite and not overbearing, the clientele (particularly the club members) are...

The Phyllis Court Club is located on the banks of the Thames, right where the Henley Regata finishes, and is very picturesque both inside and out. The first impression is of a posh, swanky venue but on closer inspection it appears to be trying a bit too hard: the Greek/Roman style pillars in the central area and the stone staircase...

Located adjacent to the Thames within 10mins walk of the beautiful town of Henley upon Thames, this hotel promises everything. But unless you like strict dress code and rules don't go there. It is a private club that is a throw back to the 1900's. You cannot fault the great staff and fantastic breakfast. The place is spotless and the...

People wandering around in jeans and trainers. Food very cheap! Tiny portions! Looked good! Don't even do cheese and biscuits. Waiter didn't refill our glasses. No table cloths. Plenty of room for improvement. Not all its hyped up to be.

Stayed here for one night. Delightful check in, receptionist actually took me to my room. It's years since I had that service. It's a bit stuffy with petty rules and dress codes but it's elegant charm compensates. Superb freshly cooked breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

From the moment we arrived we were looked after like royalty. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The staff very attentive. Magnificent setting on the banks of the river Thames. The English Breakfast was prepared individually and served hot. Delicious. Overall highly recommended.

Wonderful location right by the river Thames, A really civilised place to stay and/or eat. A private members club, but open to the public to stay too, you really cant do any better than this in Henley
