We arrived on the spur of the moment to be abruptly told that there were no rooms available. I was surprised as there were plenty of rooms on bookings.com. We left the hotel and then returned after booking on the fore mentioned website to be told that there had been cancellations. I am not sure that was the truth. The...

My 1st humiliating visit in uk! Worst hotel ever. Lovely building and view, very close to the river and church...but as a hospitality is gonna let you down. Dirty rooms, no bulb lights, no towels, no hot water for shower....rude staff and worst food ever! Completely disappointed.

My friend and I had a most enjoyable stay at The Red Lion last week when we were walking the Thames Path. Our accomodations were spacious but the help we got from the receptionist, Sani Sha, was outstanding. She was patient and very knowledgeable about the area and most gracious. Mary Jane

We chose this hotel for its excellent location! But unfortunately though some money needs to be invested in the hotel. Shower hardly works, uncomfortable small bed and a stone cold breakfast with very little choice. The traffic is also horrendous! Really disappointed

After some negative reviews on here I was slightly dubious however the initial impression was very good when I called to book. On arrival I was dealt with really helpfully and efficiently by the lovely receptionist Shieva. Room was much better than I expected with a river view . Bathroom fine and comfortable bed. Very suitable for a couple of...

Being a single female on business I found this hotel very quaint and quirky. My room was quite fabulous with a 4 poster bed that was very comfortable. Bathroom needs a bit of an up date but for the setting right by the Thames and very central it was great. Parking is around the back in the courtyard. Dinner was...

Myself and Aunt were bought an Afternoon Tea as a Mothers day gift. We were the only two in the lounge having Tea and this ment no atmosphere or ambience, the music was also pretty dire! We were served out Tea - Luke warm and weak. Sandwiched only 3 small slice each - at first look we thought smoked salmon...
